As I live in Suffolk this is a home match for me Saturday, 50 mins on train(If they running, worst service in country).
Anyone who is going and hasn't got a ticket can pay on gate, turnstiles 10-11 after 1-30pm..Cost £25,kids £15...Hope that is a help to anyone thinking of going.

I was thinking of going, but now that you have revealed that the train service is the worst in the country, I have since changed my mind.

Of course hovewhite, that would be a better alternative, although I think I may have pursueded my eldest son to drive to Portman Road, which would allow me to have a beer, but thanks anyway for the thought.

Its just our local service here in deepest darkest Suffolk Woolly.
We only have an old traction engine pulling an old Pullman  carriage.

"Doc, I've got a cricket ball stuck up my backside
"How's that?"
"Don't you start"

Thank you Mince. I live on Cambridge Suffolk Border so might see if I can make it. Never taken train to Ipswich but always found the Norwich line good. Bury St Edmunds to Ipswich I suppose.

Chesh

Yes, just rang their ticket office to see if they were selling on the day (which as you say they are), and the guy said we've sold about 1,000 in advance...

If you going from Bury St Ed...12-24 gets Ipswich 13-03
or 13-24 gets in 14-03...Ground just 10 mins from station.
