I worked in Special Events for 35+ years.
I'm now "Life Enrichment Manager" in a senior living facility working with seniors with Memory Loss, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease. Brain Cancer, late-stage Dementia and Hospice.
It's very intense but I love working with seniors, trying to make them feel cared for, loved and most importantly 'worthwhile'
in the later and final stages of their lives.
I've achieved a lot but have never felt so rewarded by any job in my life.

Respect to you.
I'm in a similar job and 'host' a group of 'special needs children/adults' (Autism, Downs Syndrome etc) in or building every week.
The interaction with them and my residents is fantastic.
