There isn't much on their boards as the fans are still reeling from the pasting they took against Chelsea and narrow loss to AV this past week.
They're on a tough run of late and look very shaky at the back, though given our corner defending against Boro, I don't think we should be throwing any stones.

"Back to winning ways hopefully.
Fulham don't concede many, but aren't prolific at the other end.
A sneaky 1-0 to Forest
And you can get better than 2/1 on a Forest win. Happy days."

"Warburton on borrowed time: Given Mr Marinakis record in Greece, our bald eagle's days are numbered. Further defeats before the break could mean a new manager after it."

" We're now one of the best teams in the Championship in terms of possession and completed passes. Now I understand that games aren't won unless a team can create chances and stop the opposition scoring, but the foundation for these things to begin is now in place. Patience."

" First half we were shocking and that included large spells of possession. Keeping the ball in our half with defenders passing it around the back four then back to the keeper and back again without moving forward is a negative approach, tactic whatever you want to call it. We struggled to play a forward pass and when we did we gave the ball away so that leads to even more passing going back.  I don't think you can say any player played well in that first half, Brereton was coming off the right and moving more centrally and looked far better but not much else was good. Second half we were a lot better but it was hard not to be. Traore started to get forward, we started to make forward passes, players were moving forward as a team, we looked dangerous. So if you look at the 90 minutes, we looked a very poor team first half but a team with lots of promise in the send. I don't know what was said at half time but we came out a different side. Two steps forward and one back, what I do know is we can't keep letting in 2 goals every game, if we do we will be fighting a relegation battle.

"Next up is Fulham, this will be a tight game they have only let in 2 goals away from home so far this season, they like to dominate possession and we like to do the same. We never keep a clean sheet, I can see them causing us a lot of problems with their movement. I think we'll lose 2-1. I think this period is going to get worse before it gets better. I can see promising things that Warburton has brought to the team but as I have said before you can't keep letting in 2 goals per game, so unless he starts to find a way to make us tighter at the back it won't end well."

" In the games we have won Millwall should have battered us, let's be honest Boro were unlucky not to walk away with all 3 points, Brentford still scored 3 goals and could've had more and Sunderland luckily are worse than us confidence wise when we played them and like you say we only had 2 bloody attempts on goal.
Staying out the relegation zone(we're not there yet I know)by the skin our teeth is not progression in the slightest. "

"With the debate raging over our defence or lack of it,I wonder who we see as our best defence, here's mine
Henderson
Darikwa
Hobbs
Fox
Lichaj.
If Hobbs can stay fit and get a run of games he is easily our best centre half,Fox at left back struggles but as a central defender he looks a different player,Lichaj is out of position, which I don't normally like but he's still our best player there,Troare can play very well there but he can also play very badly."

" Just been watching the Game, Henderson is finished his keeping is atrocious, it is sad his nerves look shot, very uncomfortable watching he seems to be disintegrating"

" The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Nottingham Forest and Fulham this Tuesday.

Nottingham Forest host Fulham on Tuesday September 26 for the game at the City Ground and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Referee: Scott Duncan
Assistant Refs: Daniel Robathan and Akil Howson
Fourth Official: Simon Barrow

Match Day referee Duncan has officiated ten games in 2017/18, showing 24 yellow cards and two red cards.

He took in 38 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and ten red cards.

His highest card count that year was eight yellows and one red in the game between Huddersfield Town and Burton Albion.

He took charge of 37 matches in 2015/16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 97 yellow cards and four red cards.
He was most card happy in the match between Mansfield Town and Accrington Stanley with seven yellows being shown. Prior to that Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City in August saw five yellows being shown and that matched his first game of the season between Coventry and Wigan where the same number of yellows appeared.
Duncan started his career as an EFL referee in 2012/13, taking charge of Port Vale versus Barnet. Since then he has refereed more than 100 matches, including both League One and League Two Play-Off semi-finals and a Southern Area Final of the EFL Trophy.

That's it for now.
There were a couple of threads getting started so I'll check back later and update as and when.

UPDATED BELOW

" Home Win, smash the Cottagers, Murphy, McKay and Brereton 3-1."

" I think we'll do them. I think as teams we're well matched and it will suit us."

" going to smash them 3 - 0 ...murphy with 2 mckay with the third"

" Fulham to score in first 10mins, Forest 1-2 down at half time.
Osborn to score softest goal he'll ever get + one scorcher.
Forest win 4-2.
Or could be something else.
(insert very quick talking voice that, could you catch what it said, would shatter the preceding illusion - like they do on ads)"

" Every match looks difficult on paper, but we need to start scrapping points otherwise we'll be dragged into the mire at the bottom of the table. I've got a feeling Cummings might start this one. I've also got a feeling we'll finally register a draw."

" If Cummings starts he'll have 5 shots from outside the box in the first 20 mins.
Draw."

" Be nice to score first and not give them summat to hang onto."

" We will win, simple."

" Looking forward to this, love a night game especially when the pressure's on. 3-2 Forest."

" Fulham are the draw specialist and we have drawn none. So its got to be a bore draw....has it?"

" I always view this as an unpredictable fixture but going for 2-1 Forest."

" I do wish Matchday Threadstarters would take the trouble to include a poll.
Another defeat coming.
Teams know how to beat our 1 dimensional game.
I am getting depressed here.
Warbs needs time but he has inherited some poor players and he has to use them until their contracts expire.
Every other team seems to further on in their development than us.
I dont see us being relegated but until Warbs can get rid of the dross avoiding relegation is our aspiration.
Roll on next season."

" Don't play Worrall, Mills or Brereton. Win 2-0."

"  nice to go to a night game with a decent crowd. Finally a fixture with a realistic chance of a result, its been a tough run,but testament to MW & his team we've been in amongst most games.

Smith
Darikwa Worrall Mills Traore
Bridcutt
Brereton Dowell Osborn McKay
Murphy
Win 3-1
Decent looking diamond there if we want Brereton up top with Murphy"

" We've got two home games before the next international break. It'd be great if we could go into that with two good results. "

" Well I think this will be one of those games where we will win but Fulham will have glorious chances that they miss 2-1 to Forest, an undeserved win."

" 0-2 Fulham.
We're the team that keeps on giving. "

" Forest 2-1 Fulham"

" 3-1 Forest"

" I am just going to (try) shut up about the manager from now on in as I do really want him to succeed and just ignore whatever happens.
After all it is not up to me whether he stays or goes and if we are more that one goal above relegation then I guess that is progress
so I am going 2-1 Forest"

" Forest win 3-1. "

" Do Nottingham Forest Stand A Chance Of Promotion This Season?
Mark Warburton's Nottingham Forest, who were perilously close to relegation from the second tier last season, have made a decent start this time around and currently sit sixth in the Championship table with 9 points from 5 games.

Is promotion a realistic possibility for the former European champions though? I would doubt it to be honest, though I'm sure they will manage to outdo their last season's performance.
The first thing to look at is their transfer strategy. Incomings such as Daryl Murphy, Barrie McKay and Liam Bridcutt look good value if you are in a glass half-full sort of mood, but frankly, those cheap signings are cheap for a reason and as admirable as Murphy is for example, he cannot compare to the striker he is replacing – Britt Assombalonga.
The Congolese striker is the only key departure from the playing squad and so on the face of it, that is not too bad. However, they obviously needed far more quality coming in than what they have managed to attract. If you compare their transfer business with that of Wolverhampton Wanderers' or even Leeds United's, you can see how weak it looks.
In terms of the betting odds – not always accurate of course – Forest find themselves around 11th in the list and that is after their encouraging start. Expected names such as Wolves, Middlesbrough, Leeds, Fulham and Derby are above them in the pecking order but the upper list now includes fast starters Cardiff City, who look better equipped for the season than Forest.
hrow in Villa, Sheff Wed and Norwich and you can start seeing how competitive this league is going to be and how hard it will be for Forest to get even a play-off place, let alone creep up into a top-two finish.
Another pointer to Forest's chances would be the overall transfer value of their squad. Although markets fluctuate, the current values of the top clubs in the Championship seem at least fairly accurate, with Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Wolves up at the top.
Clubs like Hull City, Sheff Wed, Derby, Fulham, Norwich, Reading, QPR, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff and Brentford are ALL above Nottingham Forest in terms of value and that has to be pretty depressing for Tricky Trees fans.
All things considered, I find it hard to believe Nottingham Forest will find themselves in the top six this time around and in fact, they could end up struggling once they play most of the big boys at least once.
That's it for Forest.....roll on tonight, COYWS!

Well done again terry, your views from are a must read for me.
1975 just leaving home full of hope

Feeling confident we can get a result & bring home 3 points.  Teams are picking up injuries & suspensions.  Hard fought 2-3 with no mention of the referees performance hopefully.
