But they have a cunning plan, they intend to play him in goal, as a a rush goalie. But keep it to yourself, we don't want other teams to find out just yet.

Just posted about this on the Friday news thread.  You couldn.t make this $#@t up.  Another half assed winger?  Typical Fulham.

If true, and it feels like papertalk and only HITC are reporting it. (I dont get my Fulham news from anyone other than Charlie Jones Sports) we need to review the actual player - He's 23 and played over 100 times for Utrecht. If it means we are shipping Graham and Ojo back to their clubs then surely it's a positive.

But can he play in goal ?

He probably isn't much of a keeper but there may be half a chance that he can take a good corner. There that makes us all think again.

We have other positions that need looking at way before we bring in another winger. We need a goal scoring striker and a strong centre back as priorities.

I had an old horse and cart I use to ride round the local roads in my Rag & Bone days, and my horse Dobbin could take a dam good corner, especially at the Junction of Loughborough Road and Coldharbour Lane.

LOL
Next month he may realise that what SJ actually asked for were players decent enough to swing things his way.

Have we ever considered that Joka may want him?

Wicki has Ayoub down as a midfielder and having watched some You Tube clips he does seem to primarily play through the middle in an attacking role.
I know You Tube can sometimes just highlights a players best bits but he does have some lovely skills and some great through balls so may be good acquisition as cover for Johanson and Cairney especially as both have injury concerns.

When are you lot going to realise that there arent any "wingers" are more ? There are plenty of whingers however!
The closest thing to a winger we have at the club is Kebano and he comes in of his line quite a lot too.

He's not a winger though, that's just poor journalism.

He's a typically flexible, technically minded dutch central midfielder.

Ayoub is a good player, Starts in a decent Utrecht side alongside Labyad (Who's doing great this season) and Emanuelson so you may use that as a marker for his ability.
I'm a big follower of football in the arab countries (Iraq, Egypt, Morocco) so that's how I know him, Can't predict how he will adapt to England but he's not particularly weak ie Joza problem. Also a lot of Arab footballers attitudes hasn't tended to be spot on when they've come to England so that could be a problem. Would be good midfield depth IMO. Better than Cisse anyway.
