Any line up is ok as long as Slav has read the riot act and seen a complete reaction from all players and coaches from final whistle at Wolves to the first whistle v Derby .
If we go in to any match with the same line up , tactics and mentality and just hope results turn in our favour then it's a recipe for disaster.

I hope it's as obvious to the management and coaches as it is to the fans than some kind of drastic change is needed whether it's in tactics, personnel or mentality.

Worried and think we will really miss McDonald as hes been far ahead of the other players performance and consistenly wise and hoping for at least a piont.
Team wise whoevers in the shirt they all need to give every ounce of blood sweat and tears.

Yes we will miss McDonald and we really have to do something different. A few more long crosses and quick balls up tp a target man, Kamara is the only one to fill the Target man role. Also move Sess  forward with the freedom to roam and cause trouble in the Derby defence.

Very light weight midfields being proposed for a game vs Derby

As we have said  we are going to miss McDonald, I suppose we could play Odoi in front of the back four, he has been good thisseason when he has played.

Is it confirmed that McDonald and Johansen are out, or just a forum rumour?

...and is it confirmed that Cairney is *not* out, or is that just a forum rumour?

Genuine question

McDonald suspended for 5 yellows.
Johansen just off form, no injury to note.
Cairney, will he ever be fit?

I like the Cairney pick, but I'm concerned about the Cairney pick.

Try 451 and put Ream in midfield for McDonald. Button, Fred,Kallas,Madl,Odoi,Mollo,Johansen,Cairny,Ream,Sess, A Forward. Not feeling positive about getting a result tbh. Just hope the players give it a go.

I shall not even hazard a guess what the starting 11 will be.
But it needs to be well balanced, and we need to ensure we have a solid defensive unit to give us a launching pad, with plenty of traffic in midfield. We need to break them up when they have the ball. The defence has to be resilient and that includes the keeper.
Derby will no doubt close us down quickly, and we must be aware of not giving the Ball away cheaply in defensive areas.
We also need someone up front will ensure the ball sticks.
Jok has to get the midfield right, that's the engine room.
What is important is that the 11 who start have to get their act together right from the whistle.
They all have to bust a gut and win their own battles.
The players and the manager have had plenty of time to think about this game. We are at home, it's time the team delivered.

Norwood may not  be  ready to play after the other night, and we don't know about Cairney.
Cisse to start?
Soares at LB, with Sess further forward?
Who leads the line, Kamara or Fonte?

Will Ojo play a role? he is back in training, as is Piazon.

..FOF..

This will be interesting... with Kline's meddling out of the way,
Joka (hopefully, finally??!!) can peacefully pick a team.

Both Khans need to back off.

Anybody else did I missed?... the tea lady? did the captain interfere?
Well, no matter.... Back OFF!

Woolly Mammoth

The new tea lady looks remarkably like Craig Kline.

I can only see another defeat for us on Saturday, we just don't have 11 players good enough or available to take on Derby!

Blimey Dave, even by your standards thats an early start with the gloom!!

Sadly, I think you may be right.

supersimmo123

I would play Odoi in there. We really need someone with energy who can just break up play. Bring Kalas back in.  I would go.

                                Button

Fredericks       Kalas            Ream       Soares (Should be fit after this break now)

                              Odoi
                TC                        Norwood

Ojo (if fit).                                              Sess
                           Fonte

Although his finishing was terrible against QPR and Burton Ojo's pace just caused mega problems. I think the time for Soares to play if he is going to is now. If we have a rumoured 15 million agreed depending on promotion this lad must be able to play. He looked off the pace and knackered against Wolves so I would expect him to be doing heavy fitness work over these next 2 weeks. Choosing the front man is the hardest thing at the moment. Fonte just edges it for me, he experience gets him the start over Kamara.
