As a fan of tennis I well remember her playing and her three Wimbledon singles finals. She also commentated and was a delight to listen to. It is a tragedy that she  should die so young. Somebody who dedicated her life to sport yet Cancer takes hold is just cruel. She was a friend to Martina Navratilova and when Navratilova had breast cancer, Jana would drive her to hospital.

She will be missed by more than just her friends and family.
