We have had more possession, but they have had twice as many shots, that can’t be right.

We have had more successful passes than they have, but we are losing the ariel battles as usual.

Proud of the lads, we've played well enough today thus far. 10 mins to go.

We have played well, and it should stand us in good stead whatever the scoreline.

We have to finish strong here. Nothing to lose. Hope they realize that and stop playing safe.

A good account of ourselves but it shows how reliant we are on Cairney to make things happen. Ream has been superb.

Hoof ball and 11 behind the ball against lower league opposition.

I'm glad I can watch our lot every week instead.

Genuinely pleased we lost. Not being pessimistic but we need to concentrate on the league. Hopefully the teams above us all won.

Oh well, next season.
No disgrace. Unlike :-
Villa 1 - Peterboro 3
QPR 0 - MK Dons 1
Brentford 0 - Notts County 1

Tough loss. We dominated possession, but very very hesitant play in the attacking third and we just didn't seem convicted enough to threaten them overall. Poor decision making in certain spots unfortunately as well.

Overall, can't be mad and can't be extremely happy. I think this is a match that shows our system works, but the name of the game all season has been scoring goals. We needed to test the keeper more in this one, and that just didn't happen. Point fingers all you like, but I don't think that helps anything. I'd rather lose this match than any match in the championship.

Thank God that is over, of course I will single out Fonte (yet again), the cross which Piazon should have scored from went past Fonte who never made any move towards the ball, seemed like a lack of idea and interest. Not interested in the little runs he does, for 9m I expect a lot better and he is not the man to provide it!! Our play in the final 1/3 poor, our passing a lot of the time was poor though I think S'ton were very good in closing us down, we gave the ball away far too many times and our defence well fortunate only to concede 1 goal. Overall didn't see too many positives today, sorry.

Shame we couldn’t take advantage of our build up play, need a genuine striker, and they showed that you only need to score one goal to win a game, which was on this occasion courtesy of our weak defending once again.
However. Overall we gave a good account of ourselves, but no cigar, and once again no FA Cup Final to look forward to.
