He was  quite highly rated when he came to us, but didn't do much in his short time with us, I seem to remember.

Alan Warboys was a similarly successful striker  we signed around this time, with a similar outcome.

Chris Guthrie too - but I think he was more successful, and scored a few.

Teddy Maybank was another  striker from his period, who did quite well I remember.

I think Fulham maybe have a record of signing strikers who fail to score many with us, but I suppose it's difficult for strikers, relying on others to provide chances.

I liked all those 4 strikers you mentioned when they were signed by Fulham FC.
Peter Kitchen I suppose was the most dissapointing unfortunately.
But t thought the other three did well, especially Teddy Maybank.
Alan Warboys scored a few for us, but when played together his hold up play really benefitted Maybank and Mitchell who scored more goals. He and Bannister were known as smash and grab when playing up front together (I think at Bristol Rovers). I was sorry to see him leave us.
Chris Guthrie was IMHO the best attacking header of the ball I have seen playing for Fulham. He terrorised opposing centre backs.
Unfortunately, he picked up an injury and after that was never the same.
Despite still seeming injured we sold him to Millwall and got a reasonable fee for him.
