Beaten again today 0-1 to Villarreal.
Down to 4th,at this rate might miss out on Champions league place. There would be riots in Madrid if that happened.

Bit of an odd one. They let Pepe, James Rodriguez and Morata (even Danilo) walk out the door and haven't properly replaced them. Relying on Ronaldo every week and even Bale who seems to be made of glass lately.

I think it looks like (I'm no expert) Real Madrid having so many heavyweights that blew everyone last year/ 2 years ago, and are now lacking depth, mixed with lacking ideas to the point where Zidane steadfastly defends his players and tactics, changing nothing despite poor results. The performances aren't necessarily bad, but nowhere near the level they have shown they can achieve.

There's always been a question over zidane and his tactical knowledge and adaptability and he seems to have been exposed this season.
Odd therefore that no strengthening is happening where Barca are spending on Coutinho and Yerry Mina
