Predict The Score - Stoke V Fulham

I just feel this is our year. We have never done anything is this competition - 5 quarter finals in 50 years - in 68, 71, 00, 01, and 05. In the last 5 seasons we haven't progressed beyond the 3rd round and there has always been the sense that this was a disposable competition as the club had other priorities. This is the first time I have the sense we are going to give it a right good go and I am therefore predicting -

Stoke 1- 2 Fulham (Davies & Murphy)

Due to our dismal away record it will be at best a draw, or Stoke will win.
Then again the odds are in our favor to win an away match after such a long period without an away win. So I predict it could be a win, a draw, or a loss.
I hope that clears things up!
COYW!!! Bring back Rene! But I do like Slav!

Burt

I can't fault FFCSteve's logic, and following on from that would like to predict that either Stoke or Fulham will progress to the next round.

If I were a betting man, I wouldn't put money on us winning unfortunately. So it looks like a win for Stoke, although this will be after extra time because inevitably it will be all square at the end of normal time.

1-1 at full time, Stoke to nab a winner in extra time.

Burt

I have just noticed I have a few balls next to my avatar and that I am for sale to the big 4.

I would just like to quash any speculation here and say that my heart is with this club, and I will be going nowhere.

FFCSteve

Ahahhh! Your with the happy where you are camp. Just make sure you pick a team that's not gonna go down!
COYW!!! Bring back Rene! But I do like Slav!

FC Silver Fox

I predict it'll be postponed due to dense fog.
Finn and Corked Hat, you are forever part of the family.

will there be extra time tonight? surely if its a draw there will a replay at the Cottage? and then extra time will be played if still even after 90?

Has to be decided tonight -wouldn't mind a round of penalties!

ImperialWhite

On BetFair, at the moment the odds are:
Stoke______________2.56
Fulham_____________3.10
Draw (i.e. tied at 90)_3.35

The draw seems overpriced to me - I reckon it'll be 1-1. Fulham to edge it (I hope) in extra time, 1-2.

LBNo11

...Stoke City 1 - The Fulham Football Club 3.

Elm, Dempsey and Etuhu.

What the hell, I'm optimistic today and have just received a £25K order...

THIS is our year!

If you have to, try and make it in the summer, as in the winter it may be even more embarrassing.. :dft012:

Fulham to win 4-3 on pens. But more importantly me to star tonight at five a side in compression top and shorts.
