Sessegnon In Team Of The Week (30/1/18)

Fulham are represented in the latest Football League team of the week that has been selected after this week's action.

The performance by Ryan Sessegnon in the three one victory over Barnsley at the weekend at Oakwell was enough to earn them a place in the side alongside the other most impressive performers in the Football League pyramid.

I think we'll already know ourselves, and not just based on the latest performance, why Sessegnon was selected as part of the team but explaining the choice - the FL blurb read.

'Two goals from Sessegnon helped Fulham defeat Barnsley and move into the Championship Play-Off places. His brace took him into double figures for the league campaign — a great achievement for a player who is still at the tender age of 17.'

It's always good to see the club represented in this way, and well played to Sessegnon for his recognition, but the most important thing about the weekend was of course the win.

Full Team:

Craig MacGillivray (Shrewsbury Town), Dan Potts (Luton Town), Ronnie Henry (Stevenage), Matt Doherty (Wolverhampton Wanderers), Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham), David Worrall (Port Vale), Korey Smith (Bristol City), Jamie Devitt (Carlisle United), Marc Richards (Swindon Town), Coady McDonald (Wimbledon), Tom Eaves (Gillingham).

Manager - Chris Powell (Southend United).
