Competition for places
« on: February 18, 2018, 07:26:58 PM »
I love the fact that all the guys 1-11 know there's someone chomping at the bit to step in to their boots. It hasn't been this competitive for places in a long long while.

To a man I don't think anyone let themselves down on Saturday and  I cannot wait until Wednesday.

Well done lads I'm so bloody proud of you all!  049:gif

The fact that there is Competition for places makes it healthy and our squad looks stronger than it has been for quite a while.
Quality players in key positions, second highest scorers, and clean sheets becoming more regular, and our gates are very healthy, and the Cottage looking like a fortress once again.
Not forgetting the sublime football that other teams can only dream about.

The fact Ojo & Fonte didn’t even make the bench Saturday shows how strong the squad is now
