Dan Burn was superb for Wigan Man of the Match.

The Old Count

Brilliant display for Wigan tonight. Didn't fit for us but good for him and Wigan.

General

Close to his goal at Wembley perhaps.

Congratulations to Dan, top bloke but was never going to make grade with us.

Enjoy it Dan.

Along with Humphrey's against Tottenham fulham are shining for all the right reasons now.

Fulham 442

Brilliant performance.  Really enjoyed the match!

Mince n Tatties

As I've said on the post I put up MoM,he was superb.

General

In the middle of the crowd of fans chanting too. Great to see. Will endear him to their fans all the more.

Peabody

How many said he was not good enough for Fulham, he was immense tonight.

I think Burn, Grimmer, Stockdale and Christensen all should've stayed.

Dodgin

Mobbed coming of the pitch, well done Dan

Not a player that I ever slagged off, he should be playing in a higher league!

You are basing that on one game, he was not good enough for FFC when he left the club and he is now plying his trade in the 1st division which says it all really

RaySmith

Immense performance - well done Dan, and Wigan.

I had to laugh at Pep going mad when one of his players got sent off for a studs up, off the ground tackle, similar to the  one  on his own player  against Cardiff in the previous round, that he protested so much about.

KJS

He did raise his game tonight though :54:

Mince n Tatties

The move was good for him,it has made him a better player.

He could have made the grade with us, still good enough to deputise for Ream or Kalas!!

Realising that i will be shot down but I think we had decent CBs

Burn , Hutchinson and Ream all good in my view .  Ream though proving the best :-)  ( And I have no complaints about Kalas )

BUT they never had consistency in selection or cover or confidence .

I complaint for 3 years that every week we had a different CB pairing

It was great to see Dan ruling the air like the RAF over London.
Citi looked to have an extra player despite being a man down. They controlled the second half, held possession and kept Wigan's attack in check. Yet, they flopped around like a Series A game. What is with these over prices prima donnas? Why can't they just play and stop with the knee grabbing and flopping about? I hate wussy ball.

Congrats to the Wigan lads. Must have been a great day to be a fan of theirs. Good on them!
Its not that I could and others couldn't.
Its that I did and others didn't.

Dan was superb and gave his all - he  played a crucial role in the Wigan victory.
