Closing down Wolves

We didn't give wolves time to breath. We were closing them down and on top of them with urgency each time they got the ball.

Not seen us use this tactic too much in other games.

I did wonder if we would be able to keep that tactic up for the whole game and would tire towards the end and get punished.

 049:gif  I said to my lad as we watched the match, that everytime Wolves got the ball there appeared to be two Fulham players closing them down.
I was also very impressed with how everyone tracked back en-masse.
Made it hard for Wolves to penetrate our back four.  Cannot recall too many saves for Betts!

Wolves made us work harder than any other club so far. They pinged the ball all over the pitch and it was great credit to the Club for all the players to run for the full 90.

We won but there were spells in the game where Wolves played some lovely stuff and we struggled to get close to the ball.

Great work rate from the off. Mitrovic has there defence worried he links play so wel they struggled with our movement as the game progressed
