" I told the Inland Revenue I didn't owe them a penny,as I live by the Sea"😁

I admired him mostly for his endless work for deprived children, and children's homes.I believe over the years  lot of his own money was donated to them.

Sounds a bit like Jimmy Saville ?????

You're disgusting!

Sad when someone who uses his wealth  to aid good causes, as many celebrities, including footballers, do, should be  thought of as the same as a notorious abuser of the vulnerable.

Burt is right to say that  as well as being very offensive, especially on such an occasion, FoF could be  liable to litigation  for  displaying such comments. Imagine if Ken Dodd's family saw them.

Ken Dodd was much loved - a British institution, and he represented a  type of comedy which is dying out - inoffensive, witty and enjoyed by all, from  kids to grannies- RIP.

He was a world record holder, once telling 1,500 jokes in 3.5 hours...

I might just be able to beat that record, but it will be a close call.
Woolly - that was 3.5 hours .... not 3.5 decades.

Ok I give up, you win sir 👍
No, please don't give up. You must have a couple of decades worth to go yet!

Whenever I saw him, I never laughed. Not sure what was funny. Probably me just not getting it.

Ken Dodd once said, " I was going to play for Liverpool once, but I couldn't spit far enough ".
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

If you had heard a live performance you may change your mind.  I never liked the Diddymen and the tv stuff he did. But his speed of delivery on stage was brilliant.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope
