Wow I hope he does well in the championship

EJL

I hope we do well in the Championship too.

Fernhurst

Convinced they would go for Silva,,,,,, ah well, over 400 games managing in The Premier League, suppose they figure his experience will keep them out of trouble.

Not so sure.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

I'll add Alec Stock to the list.

Roberty

Could he be the first person to manage two relegated clubs in the same season ?

He's there until the end of the season - shows what a poison chalice that job is
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy

depends on what basis successful is judged.
-Points
-Wins
-Positions
-Trophies
-Listening to your players when your tactics put you in bottom three at Christmas.

Presumably you are a young supporter and didn't know many of the earlier managers?

Yes you have to add Alex Stock to that list, and Malcolm Macdonald and Micky Adams.

Fulham 442

I liked the style we played under Hughes.  Always seemed a bit of a miserable s*d though and not particularly happy to be at Fulham!

bog

Talk about the managerial merry go round. Hughes gets the sack at Stoke as they look to heading for relegation and then Hughes goes to another club who look to be in trouble of.......going down.  :022:

Thank you and goodnight

Is that the way we played before the players took him aside or after? In fairness we weren't bad under him but he was very hard to like and clearly didn't want to be here.
