Time Wasting-how not to do it?

 There was 1 extra first half minute held up after we went 2-0 up but QPR scored in the third extra minute...but that's our fault, not the officials. It should have been easy to play out the extra minute, but we flapped around in the centre circle preventing QPR from kicking off and just annoying the ref., got the wrong side of a QPR runner from the kick off and gave away a stupid free kick(possibly partly given as the ref. was annoyed with us, and "defended" (liberal use of the term) the free kick as if the ref. was going to end the first half as soon as the free kick was taken.
Some clubs are good at underhand tactics to play out time, some do it well (keeping the ball) and some, like us and there are many others like us, do it poorly leading to a loss of shape and discipline.
Always something to learn even in a 16 match unbeaten run.

Moan, moan ,moan.

Not moaning, just pointing out that there's an art to playing out time and we, like many other teams, are not good at it. As I said, there's always something to learn, even in a 16 match unbeaten run. It's easy to identify weaknesses when you're playing badly, not so easy when you're playing well (as we are).
