Hi all Villa fan here.

I guess the main issue is we have over 20000 ST Holders which means if we offered what Fulham did all the tickets would of been sold out yesterday but I can understand why Fulham are doing it. Don't be surprised if there is a lot of Villa fans in the Fulham end due to the fact our 38k tickets will go fairly easily even with just 1 per reference. I've already seen a lot of tickets on resale sites which is wrong!

Can't see the point in all this talk of ticket allocations.
It can't be changed and is happening.
Surely there must be something more interesting to talk about like all the  Villa fans booing their re own when they went on the pitch.....why are Brummies so miserable??  :hook:

By the way we are 3 season tickets holders and have taken just 5 tickets, 3 for ourselves (obviously 064.gif), and two for a trusted supporter.
Personally I can't see the point in shelling out between £200/£400 with the hassle and risk of trying to sell them on.

My advice to Villa fans is.
" Keep right on to the end of the road, keep right on to the end.
Though the way be long, and the heart be strong, keep right on round the bend. "
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Irony of this song Birmingham don't have many loyal fans who attend games anymore looks like they didn't want to stay on said road and went home. To compare Birmingham to Villa is like Comparing Fulham to Chelsea its not fair the latter is bigger in both cases by a way. The good thing for your fans however you don't exist as a football club and have pride in Hooligans with no real trophies to go with it the same as in Millwall's case! Fulham at least has some class and dignity.

Millwall is my joint second team along with Dulwich Hamlet by the way.
You mentioned big as though it makes a club somewhat better, but that is not necessary the case.
I have no real dislike for any team because of who they are, except for one or two exceptions, and I have no truck with Villa, they have a great history.
But never make the mistake that a club is better because they have bigger support etc due to logistics or the Stadium is larger, there is no need for that, it smacks of arrogance.
Whether it's Forest Green or Lincoln City, every club has its unique value no matter the size, their supporters will confirm that, they never forget their roots.
That's what makes the heart beat of the English League and the football pyramid in England beat louder than any other League in the world.
It does not pay to mock other clubs, no matter what their size.
Please remember, there will be more people in this country supporting Fulham for the day, than Villa.
Not just because of who we are, but because our football is what the purists want to see. Sky may not see it their way because they always pander to clubs like Villa, because Sky are football snobs, which I explained on a different thread.
But the real genuine loyal supporter, know that anyway, that is why on the day, we will have the majority of neutrals hoping we win. So our support will be bigger than yours for all the right footballing reasons, but who cares anyway as long as Fulham win.
Nothing against Aston Villa, its the consequence of supporting a club who thinks that big is better.
If we win, it will be far more romantic and pure theatre, and that alone will go down in Fulham Folk Law.
If Villa win, apart from Villa fans, very few will bat an eyelid.
Not much of a story. Apart from the Sky pundits saying Villa are back where they belong, really why, nobody has a devine right.
Whereas our system of play produces football that other clubs can only dream about.
Nevertheless Aston Villa FC is your football love, and Fulham FC is mine, but unfortunately only one of us will be promoted this year, and the stakes are higher than ever.
Success or Failure, it's a fine dividing line.
But whatever happens Fulham have removed a huge monkey from their back.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

I think it was totally wrong to give season ticket holders 5 each ( although I understand it is difficult for the club ) . We have two season tickets , but sadly due to a major family event in Italy, we cannot go and are gutted. We knew that this might be an issue back in March and when a frequent and loyal fan expressed his concerns about potential ticketing issues should we get to the playoffs - we agreed then to help him out. Of our remaining allocation we have just allowed them to go back into the system.  I am horrified that there must be some ST holders who have taken their allocation and trying to sell them for profit  - that is disgraceful and could ( and should ) have been prevented ( or the likelihood decreased) by the club only allowing 2 tickets / ST holder

Shame on those who have exploited the situation and denied genuine fans ( particularly those exiled in different parts of this country and the world ) the opportunity to live the dream. You are simply not worthy of this football club and the many decent fans that follow it.

FYI - touts buy season tickets - that is how they get most of their supply for Arsenal and other "big" clubs and it also gives them preferential access to away games and paper tickets for other matches.

The season ticket card is hand delivered to the punter when they arrive in London and collected after the game

Each ticket comes with instructions about returning the ticket wallet and a note asking them not to say anything to the club
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy
