Im expecting the Seri saga to come to an end tomorrow, regardless where he ends up. But - if we'd pull it off - I'd imagine the club would like to announce both The Mercant and Seri at the same time.

You can still do loans and free transfers (with a max wage) under an embargo. Remember we signed Madl, Rohan Ince, Labyad and Baird when we had one.

Courted last season by several cadors including FC Barcelona, Jean Michaël Seri had finally remained in Nice. But a year later, the midfielder should leave the Eagles. If Chelsea and Arsenal were cited as a starting point, it is finally Fulham he will engage.
According to our information, the British team has settled the last details today to afford Seri and Le Marchand for an amount of about £ 30m, almost € 34 million. Except last minute problem, the two players will engage for 4 years and Seri will receive the biggest salary of the club. A double operation performed by Mark McKay and Baba Dramé.

Alan Nixon just tweeted to say that the Seri and Le Marchand seals are done. GFFN also tweeted that the Seri deal is done and he’s signing a four year deal.

Is le Marchand any good? His wiki stats don’t sound too encouraging but that’s not the most reliable

From everything I've seen and heard of him, he is like a French Tim Ream. Solid defender in Ligue 1, but it is hard to know how it translates.

Don't want to put a damp squib on it but "he is signing" sounds like he hasn't yet!

Is le Marchand any good? His wiki stats don’t sound too encouraging but that’s not the most reliable

Mostly Ligue 2. Only 3 seasons in Ligue 1 with a decreasing number of apperances... I agree, not too impressive for a 28 year old. He could still be a decent player I suppose but I hope he's not our 1st choice LB next season. I'm sure he would be ok as a backup left footed CB or LB though. We desperately need some depth.

Or perhaps just a part of the deal to get Seri's signature.

The wiki is not complete for last season. He had 41 starts all in all, but his page hasn't been updated properly. He was injured for half the season the season before.

Edit: I think he is meant to be competition for Ream, and cover for a LB coming in. If he is meant to be our first choice LB I'd be worried.
