If you have ever played Dominoes, you should know the effects of one,  sorry I mean two top draw signings will have through the incoming door which appears to have been well oiled and greased.

This should make other "big name" signings like Musacchio keener to join now as well.

Mitro will be next surely.
Wonder what the hold up is with him signing.?Maybe Newcastle need someone to replace him.

Maybe he needs to come back from holiday
It could be better but it's real life and not a fantasy

Serbia went out two Wednesday's ago, so let's say Mitrovic went on holiday on the Saturday, he'll probably be back in England this coming Monday (two week holiday) so I'd expect we'll see more movement on him then. It's worked out alright though, because it meant we could focus on getting Seri done.

Newcastle have made it clear he is not the man for them. It would be great if he were now to sign for us without further delay but there must be some problem otherwise he would have signed weeks ago ,surely.

Kenedy just joined Newcastle from Chelsea on season long loan. That will release Mitrovic, maybe as early as today as apparently everything is in place with Mitro and Newcastle just waiting a body in, in a similar position!

Dont worry about Stefjo, we still only have him, Seri, Cairney and McDonald (and Cissé). Thats 4 (5) midfielders for a 3 man midfield. 4 is not enough, we need at least 5 and im not all that sure Cissé is ready yet - so id say we could do with another back up such as Noorwood.
Its going to be a long season and our midfield will be chasing the ball a lot more than we're used to. Players will get knackerd, injured, suspended and what not. We need depth and quality. Stefjo will get his fair share of games, that im certain of.

Im not worried about Mitro either. He'll get here, eventually. Newcastle will want to sell and are probably holding out for an improved bid from Fulham where as we're holding out for them to just sell him to us already(probably). Mitro wants to come here, Fulham wants him and Newcastle are looking to sell.

I think Norwood is SOL on this one. He's not the DM that we need as we'll needs big brute to defend our back 4. Curious who they bring in.

Can't knock that

Now get at least one of the other live deals over the line by Sunday, and 2/3 more new faces and a new contract for sessegnon next week, then we can all go back to being happy
Don't forget SJ to sign a new long contract.... that would be nice too !!  :)

Fulham sign Seri and Le Marchand

Ivory Coast midfielder and French defender join the Cottagers from Nice

Fulham have completed their first signings of the summer transfer window with the acquisitions of Jean Michael Seri and Maxime Le Marchand from Nice.

Seri (pictured above left) is a 26-year-old Ivory Coast midfielder. He has signed a four-year deal with Fulham after moving for an undisclosed fee.

Over the last two Ligue 1 campaigns he came top for passes played and completed, with an accuracy rate of 90.4 per cent last term.

During that period he produced nine goals and 15 assists for Nice in the French top flight and was named in the 2016/17 Team of the Season.

"I'm delighted to be here, it's a new adventure that starts for me and I'm hoping it will all go well," Seri told Fulham's official website.

Le Marchand (pictured above right), 28, is a defender who can play on the left or in the middle and made 81 appearances for Nice over three seasons.

Fulham open their 2018/19 Premier League campaign at home to Crystal Palace on 11 August.
