Oh dear qatari world cup 2022

what this all means is that the fifa competiton for the world caup was so substantially flawed it needs to be re-run.
the competion was for a june/july tournament, if the jury had known meant a switch to winter disrupting the most pwerful leagues in the world then surely they would have voted differently.
the fact fifa is allowing this is proof positive the organisation remains corrupt to its very core and is not fit for purpose. however, that was clear when they left this years tournament in russia despite it clearly being purchased rather than one in a fair vote.
just my opinion but really it is time fifa and many other major sporting institutions were properly exposed, discredited and then we can all start again.
to be fair the russian tournament has been brilliant but that does not detract from its award being rotten to the core.

Absolutely agree - is anything going on to make this happen? Do we need the CIA or FBI to step in and start a criminal investigation?

As well as MI5, Interpol, The Sweeney, The A team, Elliott Ness, Witchfinder General. We need everyone as there are so many of these corrupt officials involved. They not so much fell off the back of a lorry, they were pushed off.

actually all you need is some good journalism (there is the first problem!!!)
then you need to get to the sponsors. the big organisations cannot be seen to condone crrupt practice. it is really that easy.

It's a bit shocking that people can be complaining about a winter World Cup when thousands of people are going to lose their lives building the stadia. An estimated 4,000 will have died by the World Cup. That's more fans than England took to each group game in Russia. Slap head (meant endearingly) if hundreds of people died building something in this country the government would step in. The company's doing the contract would lose it and there would be prosecutions. To say if you didn't want people to die then you shouldn't have given Qatar the World Cup is a bit of a joke. Even Russia at Sochi only lost 40 people. Qatar will have 100x  more deaths if predictions are accurate. It's not just Qatari's who are in the wrong here but how can any government let this happen. Fifa I hold responsible too. They should inform countries building for their events that if working conditions aren't up to par and multiple fatalities accur then you lose the World Cup and in that all their investment as it appears that is all they care about. Boycott is the only sensible solution and the only way to make sure it won't happen again. Any nation that sends a team to this world cup is sending a message that this is ok and have blood on their hands IMO. I won't be watching a single game of this tragedy and I find it SHOCKING that not a single nation has made any REAL efforts to stop it.

Just to let you know that in general Russia has had nothing but praise for all the teams and supporters who visited this country.They have even passed a law whereby anyone who came is allowed to return visa free till the end of 2018.A sincere welcome back to any who want to return but be warned-The Russian winter months are savage for hardy souls only who can survive temperatures of -50 in some places!!
