The average height of a man currently is 5ft 10ins.
5ft 8ins is not short.
5ft 4ins is.
Tall men stand out above others because it's easier to notice them, so it looks as though there are more of them. As opposed to the men who are 5ft 8ins or less.
I am 6ft 8ins and a half myself, as I fell asleep in a Greenhouse.
But let's all remember, it's not how tall you are, it's how high you jump, and we are all the same size lying down.
