HARRY KANE MAKES GARTH CROOKS TEAM OF THE WEEK  ??
Harry Kane: So, Harry Kane has laid the August ghost to rest. Finally, Spurs fans do not need to bother themselves anymore with this utterly useless statistic.
To be brutally honest, Kane should have had a hat-trick but the goal he did score was so unbelievably glorious I didn't care about the ones he missed.

It has been spoken about often over the last few years that harry Kane has never scored a premiership goal in August.
We are talking about Harry Kane the Goldon Boot winner at the last World Cup.
Harry Kane the consistently near the top of the top scorers.
He's possibly the best Harry Kane that's ever played first class football.

This afternoon was Harry Kane's best oppurtunity to break that Harry Kane duck.
Spurs (the team that Harry Kane plays for) were facing newly promoted Fulham,
a team that spent less on new players this year than Harry Kane is worth.
So, would it be today, could Harry Kane provide the straw that broke Harry's unfortunate,
unlucky streak.
Probably becaue it was Harry Kane.

Fulham were not very good in the first half hour but despite hardly getting a touch during that period
"Our Harry" was superb in everything he did.
Harry drifted about effortlessly, ghosting around as only "Harry the Ghost" could do, flicking the hair that so many hairdressers would love to get their scissors on.
Harry missed an easy chance, I'm sure the ball hit a mole hill just before he brilliantly lashed at it.
It was going in but sadly for Harry Kane , it didn't
Fulham weren't at the races when one of the other Spurs players (not Harry Kane) scored from a wonderful
strike, worthy of King Harry himself.
I had a cup of tea at half time and all I could hear was "Harry this, Harry that"
A nice touch from the Spurs management with the little packet of sugar, aptly name "Kane Sugar)

In the 2nd half, Harry Kane kicked off (I think) and was greeted by raptuous, Harry Kane songs and
general pontification and knighthoodlyness.
Blimey, one of the other teams players scored.
It was game on, but as long as Harry was on the pitch, nothing to worry about.
On no, Harry has hit the crossbar, from my position I could swear the posts were about 4" to short.
YESSSSSSSSS  Harry scores.
The play "reloves" around Harry Kane now, even if not involved he created space like only Harry Kane could do

A fantastic performance from Harry Kane and some of the other Spurs players.
Fulham played well in spurts, I couldn't name more than 3 of their players though.
3-1 to Harrys' team, a duck broken.
Harry is on the March again

My sentiments entirely. I recall John Obi Mikel had never scored for that lot in about 200 games.....it always happens.

i thought kane was a very good bit part player on the day, but is a lethal finisher so he did his job brilliantly getting the ball and placing it superbly for his goal, that is what he does.
I thought mitro's goal in many ways was better becuase it was a genuine strikers goal. It was one for one hitting the post though I think mitro's effort was superior.
and a shame mitro didn't connect properly with his other big chance because that would have been 2 1 to us and we would not have lost from there IMO.
The prem is cruel in that the other team always has quality players.
