Looking at the forthcoming fixtures, it should be against Burnley, but failing that it could be 2 months away either against Cardiff or Bournemouth. Sadly I can only envisage us losing all the other games, of course if we do we will be bottom!

I think we will battle and get a draw v Burnley. Gonna take at least another 4-5 games for this team to really come together and a further couple of months for Slav to know his best 11. Patience from us all is key. Clearly lots of talent among the new boys, they just need to learn the system and each others movements.
First game: Fulham 4 Burnley 0, December 12th 1998.

I feel we will gain points unexpectedly against sides that on paper look unlikely, and lose points against teams that you would have thought on paper we would have a good chance of winning.
First of all, to stand a chance of surviving, no club or fans can think, it doesn't matter if we lose to City, Chelsea Liverpool Spurs Arsenal or Man U, because we should beat Huddersfield, Cardiff, Saints, Bournemouth, Burnley and Brighton.
That kind of nonsense talk is foolhardy and a recipe for disaster.
We have to target getting points from every game, because we will have to fight for every point, whether it's City or Huddersfield.
I have read comments about, we won't beat them, so let's write off that match, or we should beat them so that three points in the bag.
Football just does not work like that.

V Burnley as think Brighton will be a defeat.do believe we will beat Burnley and I can't find logic to back that up.

I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

We have good players, they need to form a good team but in that process not lose confidence.

Whenever I have been asked to predict one of our matches, I have never in my life predicted a defeat.

Admittedly I meant the Burnley game on Sunday when I erroneously said Saturday above.

Theoretically they should give us about 99% of the possession on Sunday so we just need to be clinical and not make any silly mistakes on the rare occassions (probably about 45 seconds over the 90) that a Burnley player has the ball.

Sadly I don't think we will beat Burnley - Dyche will have them really fired up after Sunday's home defeat against Watford - and I don't think we will have gelled enough by then . So hope I am wrong.

We shouldn't be ashamed after losing to Palace, I thought they would get hammered tonight but they have played very well so far with 5 mins to go! If we are only 1 down after 85 minutes (even at home) against Liverpool, that will be almost a result!
