if slav. did not know his best team after 12 games,
how long will it take ranieri to work it out.
hopefully not another 12 otherwise that's us done for.

Mr Ranieri will get 3 points against Southampton....him & the player's have to shine, the player's have to shine early or they won't get match time....our season starts against Southampton

Woolly Mammoth

He has ten days to make his stamp before the first game. Not everyone will be around to hear his wise words. But he has a wealth of experience with so many decent clubs, and he has the charm grace and dignity to deal with all characters, good and not so good.
Plus under his polite and very pleasant manner, there is also a man of steel, believe me.
I actually rate him a better bet than Wenger for this particular Fulham Job, he is better equipped than Wenger in these circumstances, and certainly better than a few other names that have been touted.
So we could have been lumbered with a busted flush.
Instead Claudio May be just the breath of fresh air this club would need to get us out of the hole TK has dug, now that SJ has been been replaced.

Squad is divided to players who won promotion and newbies and that is evident.Team spirit is low becouse there is a lot unsatisfied players.New signings shows nothing for now...Every new manager need some time and now is int break and half of his team is out of club. So,with whom he will show his spirit, new tactic, when he will find time to see real strenght of squad? Before Southempton?I doubt...
With some luck we will gain point there...my prediction is 1:3 becouse he is not wizard, expecially if he try something new

Or expect some crucial changins..in every part of team...Maybe without Mitro in att or Sess in mid...Maybe again time for Ayte or Kebano....even for Sess brother..who knows....but i am now so frustrated becouse club didnt show strenght in hard situation....

It shouldn't take him long, 12 different team permutations have been tried so far and none would inspire any new manager (who has hopefully now had time to watch replays of all our matches) to choose any 1 of the 12 so far used. There are so many permutations still left to be tried but Ranieri is no fool and providing that we have 11 players who really want to play for FFC  it will take no time at all!

Excellent post Woolly - the players attitude ( well those who haven't been at it ) will have to change

If what you say about a new manager is true then it would have been so from day one of the season - a tried and tested PL specialist in place before the transfer window opened.  The Khans didn't do it and instead wanted to extend Jokanovic's contract.  That being the case sacking him now makes not a grain of sense no matter how you try to cut it.   The real test for Ranieri is how he tackles the problems in the FFC set up where his age abd experience may give him an advantage over Jokanovic who I believe was perhaps too good a poker player for TK.

I wasn't saying that at all, what I was implying was that Joka has had many attempts to try and select a team from a new squad, our new manager now has a chance to analyse what has already been tried (and failed), we agree that the system adopted in choosing new players is a shambles!! I think we all have mixed feelings about what is occurring this season but 1 thing we can agree on is that we are all disappointed!!

Come on one win in twelve games and many dismal performances from the team and from expensive individual players.
It would have been suicide not to have changed the manager, there really was no sign of us performing, the defence was terrible and recently the goals had dried up.

Did you see Liam Rosenior's interview on Sky ?
He would be pretty close to the situation and unlikely to make stories up

If there is a split between old and new players, can't see what difference any manager can make to heal that resentment

Gonna be very tough for the new management to get a team spirit going again

Honest, I was not trying to put words into your mouth, but simply extrapolating your logic into the manner a sensible football brain (which I believe is totally absent from the Craven Cottage hierarchy) would have determined as a way forwardl i.e. if Jokanovic was a risk on week twelve of the PL season, he was a risk outside of the Championship - period.  Personally speaking I do not think he was a risk at all because most of Fulham's damage in the Khan era has been self inflicted.  I have seen this many times before and decades ago as FFC self destructed in panicky throes and throws of the dice.  As I have said elsewhere once FFC learns where the problems truly are they will stop the knee jerking and be all the better for it.

They might not have dried up if the ref had done his job at Liverpool, and Sess had put that chance away
earlier, manager can't do nothing about that.
