Odds lengthening on is signing Cahill, Moses and Drinkwater

Guessing we are pursuing other options, wonder how much Man U not taking TFM has had to do with it

It would only affect one of the signings as only 1 would be a loan the other 2 would have to be brought

Depends if it is a deal to tie up a few in one deal,
It would still only be one in on loan due to restrictions set by the league

FFC1987

it's a shame we started this season so badly, there's some excellent players made available which, if we were midtable could potentially bring in. Wanyama for instance would be absolutely perfect for a team like ours and is being told he can leave Spurs.....Admittedly, he might of gone elsewhere anyway, but hes the kind of midfielder we need right now.

I don't understand Utd's position. If we don't want him it's a waste of everyone's time. He's literally better off playing for their reserves and being coached by their staff.

The only realistic scenario I can see, is, Utd (and us) are probably working hard finding him a another club. Utd aren't going to terminate the agreement, not find someone, and have an additional wage to pay for a player that won't play at all.

Would Aaron Cresswell be considered as a viable LB option?

Had a lot of potential back when he left Ipswich but seems to have been pushed to the bottom of the pile a little with West Ham's recent business.

Great suggestion cday908 in the summer - still potential for this to go through to shore up the defence? Could be a cracking signing

10.20 GMT: Fulham are interested in signing versatile West Ham midfielder Michail Antonio, sources have told ESPN FC.

Fulham boss Claudio Ranieri desperately looking to bolster his squad during the January transfer window in order to avoid the relegation.

However, West Ham are determined to keep Antonio at the London Stadium as Manuel Pellegrini consider the 28-year-old a key member of his squad, having started him in 11 Premier League games this season.

He certainly has bags of pace

FFC1987

He's playing really well for WestHam, no way he's coming to us.

That's promising news. Hopefully it goes through!

There's a real lack of rumours regarding CBs... does mean we're hanging our hat on Cahill coming to us? I realise that Fulham often deal stealthily, but who else have we been strongly linked with?

We need to get players to be able at least win 6 games out of 11 games against the non top six sides, and remember any team above us in the relegation battle (Brighton, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Cardiff and Newcastle) knows a draw will reduce the points required to stay up by two.

The next two games against Brighton and Crystal Palace they will probably know at kick off that if they draw the game they cannot be caught by us, so we'll need to attack and need attacking players. It is also possible the last game against Newcastle, that we will need win and Newcastle wants a draw.

We must commence our wins by beating Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday, it's at home and we need maximum points, wouldn't that put the cat amongst the pigeons.

If we won Fulham would probably sign Cahill before Brighton, plus another player if we got points at Brighton and probably another two players if we beat Brighton. Fulham winning would not only allow our accountants to realease funds to buy more, but also scare the Accountants at other clubs (e.g. Cardiff) making investments to stay up. FFP Rules suck!
