Rico - 4 - makes good saves - should have stopped first goal - doesn't command area for crosses - one weak punch 2nd half
Odoi - 5 - reasonable - exposed by Martial - no cover behind or in front
MLM - 3 - been OK but poor today
Ream - 4 - Not PL standard but tries hard
Bryan - 4 - Not PL standard but tries hard
Seri - 6 - been OK recently - couldn't mark Pogba as he kept disappearing
Chambers - 6 - OK but outnumbered in midfield today
Schurrle - 2 - brilliant ball after 2 minutes ...that's it
Babel - 6 - looks like a proper footballer - ran out of steam - should be used as a half time sub not a starter
Vietto - 1 - missed golden chance - runs around a lot and makes space..but who for as Mitro isolated - should have scored in 1st minute
Mitro - 4 - marked out of it by (of all people) Smalling - isolated anyway
Christie - 5 - tries hard...not good enough...no left foot means he is useless down the wing
TC - 6 - should have started but has appeared weak in games.. spends most of the time looking for his girlfriend up in the box
RS - 4 - poor season - no impact again

CR - 5 - poor selection - can't start with Vietto, Schurrle AND Babel

Ref - 3 - gave everything he could to the Reds - should have sent DeGea off at the end for aggression and raising his hands to Mitro

Dodger53

Apart from Christie who would get a 2 from me I generally agree with scores and comments.

Nobody deserved a 6 today, not 1 player gave a 1/2 decent performance!

You can't playMLM as a RCB he's a left footer and it showed. Should have played him and Denis with S Sess at RB

I thought Seri was very poor today, he gave away the ball very many times. Tried hard but not a good day for him.

Just a very poor team selection yet again, but frankly with out total lack of premiership defenders we have no chance.  Seri was the only midfield player in the starting 11.  Even if he was superman he would struggle.

A massively unbalanced squad with a totally crap defence,  what do you expect ?

I think odoi was our best defender I'm not sure why he gets flack on here. The rest played well below par. The tactics were all wrong for my money and I think Ranieri has lost the dressing room

CR'S Team lineup and tactics should handicap us a 2 goal lead head start and we'll still be in trouble. He doesn't even deserve a rating.

agree Dennis was strong all game as for selection he was clutching at straws.

If Odoi was our best defender therein lies the problem.  He was only at fault for two of the goals.

In my opinion he was at fault for none of the goals. He could maybe have done better on the second, but had MLM even tried to do something there should have been no danger at all. If you think he was at fault for the first goal I don't know what game you were watching as there was at least three other Fulham players that clearly was at fault for that one. But opinion is opinion and to each their own I guess.

I do so hate rating players and watching them gloat and do little else in the next game just because someone gave them a higher score than anyone else.  Odoi was my MOTM (which he won't be influenced by or proud of) and played as he always does. Chambers momentarily took his eyes off of Pogba for the first goal which is always likely to prove fatal, and after that we just looked so easy to breach.  However we did have as many shots as our opponents but, as has been the case for most of this season, the lads do not seem to understand that you need to get the ball between the posts, under the crossbar and over the goal line to make it count.  Perhaps Denis needs to explain to others how he does it at both ends, because Ranieri clearly doesn't have a clue.

We are getting close to having to use negative scores, could anyone really object to -1 for Ranieri.

You're going to ignore the fact that Odoi stood about 15 yards off Martial the whole first half and let him do as he pleased? Gary Neville was rightly slaughtering Odoi for giving Martial the time and space to pick whatever pas he wanted, and then correctly said we were too nice because nobody took a yellow and decked Martial 30 yards from goal which would've been the tactical thing to do. Odoi had three chances to take him down before he got to the box and failed to do it on any occasion which for a defender who's supposed to be experienced is somewhat vexing

Firstly, whether or not Odoi stood a million miles away from Martial, or if he stood right next to him was not the discussion was it? So I am not sure what your accusation is about, but I guess you are rather angry than having a discussion.

Neither of the goals happened because of Odio generally being far from Martial. The second goal we were attacking and as usual needlessly lost the ball. I assuma that Odoi was allowed to go forward as part of our tactics.

I did also acknowledge that Odoi could have taken him out, but also argued that MLM was in a much better position to do just that. Now, you may not agree with that which is fine with me.

On the completely new point you brought up for no obvious reason, I don't think that it would have done Odoi much good to close Martial down more, since he had absolutely no cover from either MLM or Schürrle. Frankly, the tactic (or execution of it) left Odoi with the very unenviable task of defending alone against Martial. Most players would look bad then.
