Poor Italian minnows Pro Piacenza who play in Serie C are in deep financial trouble and have failed to field a team for 3 games running so have been deducted 8 points.
Yesterday they were told if they don't field a side against Cuneo, they would be thrown out the league.
So they played the only players left on their books 7 teenagers..At half time they trailed 16-0,Cuneo eased off after the break and finally win 20-0.
There's always someone worse off.๐Ÿ˜–

We haven't got problems after reading that bring on the championship.

Look at Fort William in the Scottish Highland League...played 24, drawn 2 , lost 22, goals scored 16, goals conceded 170 (!). To make things worse, they've been "deducted" 9 points for player breaches so have a net minus 7 points. Perhaps we could fix a game with them.

When things get so bad you have to look for those worse off as a therapy, you are certainly in deep doo doo.ย  :012:

What a sad tale. Their fans must be going through hell. As well as Fort William.

We will definitely be going to heaven, as we have already been to hell.

My Scottish team,Saint Mirren, have got a manager so clueless that he makes Claudio look like a master tactics man!

There is always someone worse off. For instance, my pet Grizzly Bear has been very poorly, with very bad Tummy trouble. He is slowly but surely getting better, but he is not out of the woods yet.

No doubt TK is about to offer ยฃ65 million for there star player based on him stringing 6 passes together.

I was having a look through the non league paper the other week (as you do) and was looking through all the league tables to see who was having the most abysmal season.

A team called Florence FC (formerly Florence Colliery) were having an 'interesting' season in the Staffordshire Senior League. Looked up their current record for the season and its played 24, lost 24, scored 10, conceded 281 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

There is a difference between struggling in the Premier League, and being in massive financial difficulties. We are having a poor season, not the end of the world.
Everything is difficult before it's easy!

Blimey that's an average of conceding almost 12 goals per game, which is almost as bad as our record.
Don't say a Dickie Bird to TK, he will be sending a posse of scouts up there to Florence FC formerly Florence Colliery to study their ball control in defensive areas, and whether they are all under 28 years of age, not forgetting the very valuable and important details of their stats
As well as a few tips from their current manager as to how they managed to keep it below 12 goals conceded per game.

They have now been expelled from the League for fielding 7 players.

Yesย  I've just read about it Woolly.
Sad that a club goes like that, their stadium holds over20,00 as well, like always it's the fans who lose out in the end.
Hope they can come back.

Hope not, we might lose against them?

Nice for the rest of us if Saint Mirren were to improve things for themselves by signing Ranieri, any chance?
