But stayed, because he had a feeling the manager may not have been in a job much longer.

Also very critical of Ranieri's style whilst at the Club.

Very interesting piece.

Start from the beginning.. being "close" to medical at other clubs suggests he isn't now which bodes well for next year. Also as Johansen is a friend, one would could envisage his return if the atmosphere was right.

"Until he got rid of" Kamara suggests it was Ranieri ousting Kamara and players wanted him to stay. Again, could return?

Thought it was funny they were just "winging it" and hoping Mitro would score. The fans could see that a mile off!

Such poor planning both by ranieri in the fact he apparently had done research on the squad and given Tony Khan a dossier of the players and how he intended to play, for him to be so spectacularly wrong and Tony for hiring him, not backing him properly and hiring a manager who clearly didn't know what he was doing with this squad - shows a degree of detachment from understanding how the football team runs, which would also back up the idea that Slavisa got annoyed with his oversight of transfers.

The knock on effects of having Tony at the club are becoming more and more evidently negative.

If aim was to run behind defenders then Kamara and another fast paced winger was needed in January. Was this why we got Babel?

Losing Kamara and signing an aging winger is barely even half a job.

Kevin McDonald said the players had no idea at the end of Raneri's rein, but the "last three games McDonald played under Slavisa we conceeded 12 goals", the "last three games McDonald played under Raneri we conceeded only 3 goals",  and the "last two games McDonald played under Parker we conceeded 6 goals". Plus, the amount goals scored is similar Slavisa-3, Raneri-2 and Parker-2.

Maybe Raneri, thought Slavisa did a goal job trying proper football and it wasn't working. Tactic of "So kick the ball to Mitro, Kamara & Sessegnon" was the only plan that might work and that tactic has a lot of defensive advantages.

Surprised that this is in the matchday programme but good to see.

Similar to the aftermath of CK's sacking, it's confirmation of mistakes the club has made, and more significantly, confirmation of a lot of things that most on this forum were saying for ages. Just goes to show that us armchair critics aren't far wide of the mark most of the time!

All those who invariably give the club the benefit of any doubt, take note.

Kmac has had quite a role in the changing room and one would have to assume at Motspur Park this season and I hope he sticks around as Parkers senior voice next time round.
