Swap ????

OK, I will swap my hondaΒ  for your bmw. Any takers on here? (actually, I don't have a honda).Β  No takers. I didn't think so. If in doubt I am implying TC is worth 2 or 3 times the offer. 092.gif

You could argue both are championship level and both are very effective in the championship.

The old mucker

I think Dwight gale is a very good championship player and I would have him for us next season in a heartbeat, saying that I don't think I would swap him for Cairney but to have the both of them next season would be great

Cairney could well be tempted at another bite of premier league football in a better team with a proven manager.

Think him and his girlfriend prefer the London life

Cairney has been very disappointing this season. I still suspect his injury problems are never far away. Gayle is often mentioned and I am sure if we could keep Mitro then he would come in handy. But it is all a gamble whatever happens. I am not sure a swap makes sense. But we will need another forward player with a bit of pace.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Cairney was disappointing whilst being consistently played out of position I would agree. At the start of the season he was coming back from injury and looked short of fitness and confidence, also disappointing. But as the season has progressed and a) he has moved back into his natural position and b) he has built an understanding with those around him, he has got better and better. By the Everton game he was a clear mom contender.
