Hello Whites,
My name is Adrian, I'm from Costa Rica that makes me the second Tico on this board.  I was Born in San Jose which is the capital of our beautiful country.  I currently live in North Carolina, US; I been on the states for since 1991.  I love the premier league over any other league in the world, just because the fact the is very competitive and you guys invented the sport. I'm currently work for a staffing firm recruiting people for different clerical and light industrial jobs.  I love playing FIFA 2012 my psn name is Azeedo so look me up if interested in playing or just having me as your friend.  Of course I'm here because or Ruiz we tend to support our guys and their teams.  I really enjoy FOF, is very emotional and harsh on their players and coach and I respect that's what we are here for to take out our frustrations lol.  Anyways thank you for having me. 048

About time I contributed to this thread.  Its great seeing the backgrounds behind the avatars.  well here's mine.

I was born and raised in Fulham in 1978 and my parents still live the house I grew up in today, just off Munster Rd.  I went to Melcombe Primary and then St Marks (in Bishops Ave, school not there anymore).  My Family have always been FFC nuts so I guess I was just brought up with it.  My first game was in the late 80's during the dire days but that still didn't put me off and I've been a season ticket holder since 1992.  Favourite players include Barry Hayles, Louis Saha, Steeeeddd, Darren Freeman, Martin Ferney and Udo Onwere... ok maybe not the last two!  Away from football I'm a cricket nut and play for Acton CC, I now live in Ickenham with the wife and 2 kids, already working on my youngest becoming the next generation fan.

Anyway that's me thanks for having me!

Jambo.

Hi Everyone. Just signed up to FOF. I've never signed up to any forums  because I'd always thought they'd be full of moaners and sociopaths or even moaning sociopaths crack talking the usual drivel. Pleasantly surprised at how civililsed and entertaining FOF is. Also I'm self employed and these days find I have more time on my hands than I'd really want.
So - my Fulham story: I'm a west London boy who's dad hated football (and still does) but my uncle was a Brentford supporter (I know,I know) who took me to Griffin Park. BUT when the Bees were away we'd go to the Cottage and being a lad of discerning taste decided that's the team I supported. Survived the grim years and now a few of us have been going to games together for the last 20 years and we sit pretty much where we used to stand in the Hammersmith End. We've become fixtures, a chorus of grumpy old men - but we always support the team, never leave early, AND NEVER BOO. The last 13/14 years have been great years for the club, and I think there's no reason why it shouldn't continue......so I'll see you Saturday for Stoke

I have been a daily reader of FOF for over 4 years now.  While I never frequent message boards of any kind, I find FOF to be a great place to learn about Fulham, its deep history, its place in Football and the Prem, as well as its supporters.  Thanks to the daily contributors and monitors to maintaining a great place to learn more about what we love.

I have been to the Cottage once before.  In 2007 I took a memorable trip with my brother to see Newcastle.  I watched McBride score, and witnessed one of Dempsey's early experiences at Fulham, with 3 other Americans on the pitch.  Bocanegra had a decent game and Onyewu was also there with the visitors. At the time, I was there to see the popular US players..but that experience introduced me to a whole new outlook on Fulham.  I will forever be a Fulham supporter.  I went with few expectations of the club, and now I am hooked.  Here in the States, it is not easy to catch just about every match, but I have found a way to manage.  I have seen the better part of most games since 2007.  My support of the Americans introduced me to Fulham, but now I support Fulham with whomever they bring in..or whomever they let go.

I am excited to get back to the Cottage in April, and look forward to getting to the pub for a pint to meet some of FOF characters!
I will be paying attention to some of the previous advice given on the board for visitors, as I am bringing a few other Fulham supporters in tow on that trip..and we want to do it right.

Fit like?

Finally got round to registering! As some older members may discern, I have an Aberdeen connection. I thought it appropriate to take as my username one of our legends and yours.

Originally from Aberdeen, now living in Glasgow. There's plenty of Aberdeen fans here, but not come across any Whites. I have been slowly falling for Fulham over many trips to London and have been getting to games in the NW when can't get down to London. Was last at Goodison for the cup game, and next definite trip is to Anfield, although might make it to Bolton.

Tin hat on for the sweaty banter, bring it on! 011

Yep , I'm from Doncaster and my 1st. love is Doncaster Rovers but have always had a soft spot for Fulham and went to CC many times as a youngster with my Grandad.
He had a hardware shop on Greyhound Rd., in Hammersmith, incidentally I went to the Cottage a good few years before going to Belle Vue. I have loads of respect for all Fulham supporters as I know a good few of them would have found it a lot easier to watch the Scum in the city (especially at school) rather than watch their local team......the same happens here only with the Binkickers (Leeds) and the 2 Deedar clubs.

I'd have to be one of the newer Fulham fans on the forum. Only very recently have I started to follow Fulham I'm from Australia and I've been interested in football my whole life but we don't really get much over here apart from the big clubs. So when I was a little kid I "supported" Manchester United.

It has only been really recently that I've started to watch European football, really after the inception of the A-League. Back here I follow Melbourne Victory, and my girlfriend introduced my to her team Glasgow Rangers who've sucked me in. In the end I'd always had a soft spot for Fulham due to the lanky legend Mark so I've started to support them. So that is my introduction. Fulham are not my number one club, as a few over here have said, they are my number one in England though!

I dont think I ever have.

Supported Fulham since the very early eighties after my dad took me. Was a season ticket holder with my dad for most of the 90's. Moved abroad to Thailand in 2004, and now work all over the world in the Oil and gas industry. Currently in Malaysia, away to Cuba next month.  Built a house near the beach, called it Craven Cottage and have lots of signed memorabilia in the office. I converted my wife to Fulham, and will force feed Fulham to my son. Dont get to see many games now, about 1 a season, when I return home for visits. Will probably never live in the UK again, but can still watch all matches live on Asian ESPN when not at work.
Things I miss most about the UK, friends & family, good Guinness, and rain or shine , walking through Bishops Park to the ground on match day.    scarf

Hey.

I'm a new-ish Fulham convert, probably went to my first match in 1999 or so but the first one I remember was against Port Vale at Vale Park... glamorous I know.  Born and mostly bred in Manchester, and have supported the filthy Red side since I was a kid, but was taken to several Fulham matches up north by my step dad so they quickly became my second team, never imagining that I'd have to choose between the two on a match day :P  Coincidentally my first match at the Cottage was against United in the FA Cup a few days after Cookie crashed his car and broke his leg, standing in the Hammersmith end not really knowing who to support :P

I've been to a far few matches, although not nearly as many as some of you guys obviously, but the one I regret not going to the most is the Juve home match (naturally) - I'd planned on as soon as the draw was made (a chance to see either Ajax or Juve was a bit of a no brainer really), but after the 3-1 defeat in Turin I figured it would be a bit too expensive to travel from Manchester to see Fulham get knocked out.  Woops.  Made up for it by going to the home Wolfsburg match instead, which was awesome if incredibly rainy and cold.

Favourite old Fulham players are probably Steed, Saha, Finnan and currently, in spite of how much he gets slagged off I absolutely love Ruiz probably above anyone else - that boy has some serious ability.
Favourite players ever are Iniesta (to the extent of getting into a reasonably serious argument a few years back, before he was widely acknowledge of being awesome, about the fact that he was probably the best midfielder of his generation), Juan Seba Veron (in spite of his Chelsea links and it not really working out in England), Alex del Piero, Juan Carlos Valeron and Batigol.

Anyway, enough rambling for now!
