So just how much did we sell sess for

If the reports are true and we couldn't sign hector due to the sess deal going to the wire, then that surely means we roughly have what we earned for him as a budget does it not. And with bobby hector and cav all joining  in this window, that must be best part of 30 million. Surely we are done now without someone leaving.

Don't forget we got onomah as part of the deal. So either we got a combined deal nearer 40 mill or we got 20-25 for sess. Which would make each player we've confirmed as being around 8 million, which isn't too absurd given they wouldn't be wanted by their clubs or haven't played in a while.

Hector was part of chelseas loan system
Cavaleiro was popular but not performing or getting as much game time in the premiership
Reid is a good am and winger he's proven he's good in that free flowing front line just off mitro but was being played as a striker for Cardiff in the premiership which he has the ability for but wasn't delivering in the way Cardiff played.

8 million for hector is up there with 2.5 for boa. Absolute steal

As I said on another thread...

Much more complicated than that...

If Reid, Hector and Cavaleiro have been signed on 3-4 year contracts, the fees will be spread over that period in the accounts

In the same way, we're still accounting for the Anguissa, Seri, Mitrovic and Mawson fees this year

We're permitted to lose money, we don't need to break even

The limit on what we can lose is calculated over 3yrs, not just this season

We also have to pay wages...

Not to mention the loan fees we paid...

Etc etc

so then it can't of been the sess deal that held up hector deal then, as we could have easily sold a player for 2 mil to cover ffp in this window.
