"Emegency building work was underway this morning to extend the changing facilities at Fulham's Motspur Park training ground, as, in a frenzied 5 minutes last night, every one the players who have been connected with the Premier League newcomers this transfer window simultaneously decided to sign on with the club.
Manager Scott Parker said, 'Of course handling a 46 man squad is a bit tricky but it is always a good problem to have and strength-in-depth is necessary in the Premier League. In fact we are considering asking if we can enter two teams this season. With a good few weeks before the window slams shut, we now only need to sign a decent right back, and, perhaps a few more goalkeepers.
That will have to wait, though, because the office has run out of Biros."
