Slim Like Gentleman Jim 2010 Championship - Week 6 Results

Admin - We seem to have lost McBrideFan1 and Cardboardrobots seems to be on a bi weekly schedule. If they read this please send weights. If not, I'll just mark them zero going forward. It will have have no impact anyway as if I don't hear from them I'll take them out of the final standings and league tables and issue a  Red Card

Commentary - This week as a group we lost another very respectable 12 pounds, giving a total of 126 pounds for the year or 9 pounds per person. The average loss continue to go up, which is fantastic.  Only two more weeks to go.  The stud of the week was RidgeRider with 3 pounds loss, who obviously has managed to get it to stop raining in California and get the old bike back out. Behind him quite a group managed to drop 2 pounds.

Naughty boy honours of the week, ignoring the non-posters, goes to Bigalffc (The Slimmer Formerly Knowns As MediumAl For a Brief Moment) who put on 2 pounds. That just made FC SilverFox/French Connection off the hook who spent the week in Belgium drinking Belgian beer and feasting whilst on business, resulting in adding 1 pound to the bottom line.

In the League Tables, changes happened again! The Rambler pulled ahead in the top spot in Total Pounds, having lost 17 pounds now. MichaelRead is just a pound behind him in the overall. Pound for Pound saw Michael Read overtake the Rambler but Blingo is clearly in the mix as well.

We now only have 2 more weeks to go!! Keep it up lads, give it a late push and see how far we can get in two weeks!!! COYW!!!!

Cheers once again Finny. I was out for a meal followed by plenty of wine and beer when i got back in and two mini pizzas, today i've ate almost a whole pig . It's going to be a very hard week if i'm not going to be the fat bastard next friday.

You were a fat bastard last Friday and plenty of Friday's before that. Christ almighty, you were the model for Austin Powers films......... ::)

JezamyBates

is this done on trust or are you all meeting up at eachs others house every week with some scales and some kleenex (for those crying after putting weight on)

finnster01

Mr Jezamy,

It is all done the Fulham way. Gentleman rules. A Fulham mans' word is good enough for me.

The problem with meeting up would be the need to celebrate any losses with a beer or seven.
