May have missed it - is Robinson out hurt? between the two, any thoughts on who should start going forward?
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Didn't get to watch the game so can't give the much but in the match day thread a lot of people mentioning him making good runs,

Also mentioning ream failed to give him the ball during these runs, ream and Robinson have a very good understanding so I hope he finds the same with castagne in future

Robinson was injured on international duty. He is most definitely still our starter, and should be. Castagne looks an excellent backup for either fullback position.

Yeah, I feel better about our FB depth right now than I did last season.

From what I saw - he's definitely a solid player and gives quality depth to our defense. With the players we have now in defense, and in midfield, I'm very happy with the squad actually - forward options, though, are lacking.

Thought Castagne was very good - the only minor issue with him playing at LB is he is right footed so he loses the overlap and cross benefit of a natural leftie. Certainly have no concerns for him stepping in to cover for Tete or Robinson when required

No doubt we have the international break to thank for that one. We did well to negotiate that banana skin today . We now have a clear week to the next match t Palace. Lets hope Siva can get the squad up to scratch in that time..

Luka

Think Robinson would be a good backup for Castagne !!

I didn't sit in my usually seats today. Instead I got to sit close to the dugout, 3rd row from the front in the riverside.

It's a very different perspective of the game..

But from where I was, I thought Castagne was poor and we were lucky to have got away without conceding from the multiple mistakes he made.

Wild, completely different take. A game if opinions evidently
Thought he got very little wrong bar his yellow card and had our CBs spotted his quality runs in behind we might have broken down Luton much sooner

Whitestone

Castagne was fine. Must remember he wasn't playing on his favoured side. I thought the yellow was harsh.

Moussa Dembele the 3rd

I thought Ream should have played him in like 5 times. Ream isn't playing as aggressively as he did last year and looks slow. I think it's only a matter of time before Bassey takes over.

He definitely missed quite a few of those runs to play him in. They'll go back on the film and show Ream, all will be fixed. I thought Ream played quite well today actually.

Amazed by this. Can't think of one error he made albeit I sit in Johnny Haynes so only got to see him close up in the 1st half. What chances are you talking about?
I was impressed. 7/10 from me but my man of the match is Kenny boy with Palhinha a close 2nd

In fairness. Anything he did well in the first half I had absolutely 0 perspective of.

Sitting so close is amazing to see how quickly everything happens but you get fcuk all view of about 60% of the pitch  :slap:

Everything dangerous Luton did came down our left/their right. Including that huge chance near the end of the first half - the cross from Kabore that we were nowhere near..

Listen, I'm a happy to watch some of this back and be proved very wrong about this. But this was just my gut feel coming away from the ground, that a better team would have roasted him.

Tabby

Thought he looked shaky defensively and didn't provide much going forward. Genuinely surprised to see people being so positive about him.

But he will probably get more intergrated with the patterns of play as he gets more experience here. Was away with Belgium so he hasn't had many practice sessions yet.

We missed Robinsons pace but Castagne made some very good runs in behind without being played the ball. Defensively solid despite playing on his wrong side,
