Andrews Brentford's manager was the wright choice appointed after their old manager went temporarily to spurs. For their budget they went for a more physical manager which l doubt fulham fans wouldn't approve but they might finish in their highest position.Of interest he appointed the ex Sunderland and Liverpool midfielder who also played for England the german at liverpool rated his leadership on and off the pitch liverpool now look a team without a leader hodgson tried to buy him for us but was not interested. My question is we have not had a leader on the pitch for most of the game as someone said it's poor management from silva and who ever is recruitment manager giving a guest appearance to cairney from time to time.We need a leader to play regular. If Brentford finish higher than us and with the players we have bought this season silva and present dof should leave pushing ahead with new season tickets ignoring the terrible mistakes which have been made.

"Andrews, Brentford's manager, was the right choice after their previous manager moved temporarily to Spurs. Given their budget, they opted for a more physical style of management, which I doubt Fulham fans would approve of, but it may help them achieve their highest-ever league finish.
Interestingly, he appointed the former Sunderland and Liverpool midfielder, who also played for England. The German manager at Liverpool highly rated his leadership both on and off the pitch. Liverpool now look like a team without a leader—something that has become increasingly noticeable. Roy Hodgson even tried to sign him for us, but the player was not interested.
My concern is that we have lacked a consistent leader on the pitch for most of our games. As some have pointed out, this reflects poor management from Marco Silva and whoever is in charge of recruitment. Players like Tom Cairney only make occasional appearances, rather than providing regular leadership.
We need a strong leader who plays consistently. If Brentford finish above us, despite the players we have signed this season, then Silva and the current Director of Football should step aside. Pushing ahead with new season tickets while ignoring the serious mistakes that have been made is not acceptable."
With Mick, there is generally a kernel of truth to what he says but it gets lost in hyperbole.

It still doesn't seem all that coherent.

At least as good as Carragher - and it's free!
Andrews in my opinion should be manager of the year if he guides Brentford to a Euro spot.

He should probably be manager of the year even if he doesn't. He's done an incredible job.
If he's manager of the year then Silva is in the running too, which obviously he's not.

Not sure Andrews and Silva are in the same league really. Andrews has put Brentford firmly at the table for a Champions League/Euro spot, really good transfers, appear to buy and sell well to fund the growth, all with a small stadium/fan base. Basically they have continued on from where Frank left. Had we of found a £30m 25+ goal scoring machine like them, maybe it would be different.
I genuinely didn't think he stood a chance. But I'm the world's dumbest idiot so I was likely to be wrong :welcome1: ::bump::

I agree, they aren't in the same league, I'd take Silva over Andrews all day long. You've nailed it too. They have Thiago, we don't. He's a difference maker. Andrews inherited a good squad from Frank who should take a lot of the credit for what's going on at Brentford this season. I think Andrews can only be properly judged over a longer time period. Definitely not manager of the season material.
