Does he and Silva share the same agent? I can't say I would be overwhelmed with him coming on board. For me a manager/head coach from outside of the Prem would bring a breath of fresh air to the club.

No. What about Kjetil Knutsen? The Norwegian has worked wonders during his eight-year spell as Bodo Glimt manager. He'd have to give up European football but I'm assuming we'd pay him a lot more than they do. Celtic are interested though.

He barely speaks English (one of very few Norwegians that doesn't i have no idea why), and he is set with a level of control and a player group and a club that he knows inside out. I would find it more plausible that we got Wenger or Guardiola interested than us tempting Knudsen for whatever reason, and I'm not even exaggerating.
He wouldn't be my first choice, but that's mostly because I'd like to see us try to be the aggressors in games more. I think there is a place for variety of tactics in the league and wouldn't be against him in charge but that style isn't really my cup of tea.
And any man that chose to buy this version of Adama Traore is a walking red flag.
Absolutely not.for the same reason I don't want Thomas Frank or Graham Porter. I want a style of football that they cannot deliver. I will be gutted if Marco leaves but understand that we are approaching that point. Sadly I believe that recent results have partially been reflective of the shadow that has loomed over us re contract talks. I would however like to remember all the brilliant moments he has brought to our club and he will be very hard to replace.
I personally feel we need someone with premier league experience whether that be as a manager or as a player. I want progressive football that is attractive on the eye and someone who is respected enough to attract both proven, experienced professionals and young/upcoming talent.
I appreciate that is a big wish list but we are an attractive proposition.

Cesc Fabregas. I assume Iraola is out of reach, Glasner also.

When he leaves you just know we won't get Fabregas or the like. It'll be Potter, Nuno, Frank etc.

No he has been there since September and hasn't really made an impact. Some of his team selections seem poor - for example, Callum Wilson was not the right man to start the game yesterday .

But that's the level of manager we are likely to attract. If Silva had got us into Europe and still decided to move on then the calibre of manager we could look at would be higher.

Silva has had the same problem. Now he won't let the midfielders play through balls to the wings so we are below average. That doesn't include Robinson running 30 years to put in a cross to the H1/JH1 stands.
I'd rather see something fresh.
