If we had a chance of Poch or Iraloa then we should go all in on either. Have always liked the idea of Xavi but might be a bit risky?

Iraola has been brilliant at Bournemouth and is very personable. A perfect fit for Fulham but probably unrealistic because I suspect he'll been in demand with bigger clubs in the running.

It would great if we could get either Poch, Glasner or Iraola. All seem unlikely - and we would have to wait until the end of World Cup if it was Poch, which is far from ideal!

A definite no to Lampard, Amorim and Frank.

Most of the others I would be relatively happy with.

Bournemouth are about to get European football. If Iraola has decided he needs to leave then I can guarantee you it will be with a Champions League club in mind.

Same with Glasner, if he's leaving a Palace team which is already in a European competition and could be about to upgrade to the Europa League, I don't really see how we're an attractive proposition.

For me Luis or Fabregas have the highest upside potential.

That's a huge jump for someone whose only senior managerial experience to date has been half a season with Colchester. If we were in the Championship I'd be more open to it, but in our current situation it's a huge gamble.

This really sums up the problem. Some names on the list are just not realistic, while others are a huge gamble. The likely candidate such as Frank is generally not wanted. I am hoping Silva stays and we get that extra push and get into Europe.

Glasner and Iraola are probably the most appealing options on the list but they surely aren't leaving Bournemouth and Palace to come to Fulham this summer.

You would usually want somebody with prior Premier League experience to avoid gambling with any appointment but neither of those had any.

We were linked a couple of weeks ago with the Rayo Vallecano manager (not sure of the source/reliability so just passing on what I read). Currently 8th in La Liga having also finished 8th last season (from 17th place the previous year when he was appointed in the February). Also reached the Conference League final this season. The next Iraola?

If we want PL experience I wouldn't mind Pochettino, primarily to annoy Spurs fans but i would have thought his sights would be higher than FFC, despite his current role, which isn't one of the most coveted jobs in world football.

A more realistic option would perhaps be Roberto Martinez - think his character would suit us as a club. Premier League experience and gave Wigan something no FFC manager has ever done for us - win a major trophy. He'd have decent knowledge of players from the main foreign leagues having been on the international scene. Some may deride such a suggestion as uninspired - perhaps he didn't set the world on fire at Everton but his record there wasn't terrible. It seems mainly 'big club' fan mentality led to his sacking (despite reaching both domestic cup semis that season)...?

I am not saying I want it but it has worked at the bus stop so I can see that we might be tempted.
And Chris Coleman had less managerial and coaching experience than Mullins when Mo threw him in at the deep end.

Martinez is a good shout although I question much like Poch whether his time has came and went as a mgr to pull a club up.

I'd prefer Glasner, but like others have stated I imagine he has higher aspirations than a sideways move in the Premier League.

I'd love Iraola... khan should be able to pay a lot more than Bournemouth for his wages.

Where is the box if I wanted to tick "Roy Hodgson"? "Too old", but couldn't stay away from the game and just finished the season at Bristol City with a 3-2-2 record. If a unique opportunity came along where he thought he could do a job and cared about the project and/or club, he would probably do it.

Given the new FFP scheme, we are going to be at an even greater disadvantage, and it is looking possible we might be one of those clubs that needs to be drilled for battle.

I am not saying it's the right answer, and it might not be the right fit depending on what happens over the summer, but he should be included in the choices.

My first pick would be ANDONI Iraola if we could get him, but he is likely to go to a bigger club. Glasner is the same. He complained even more than Silva did about CP not spending, so doubt that he fancies coming to us.

Forget about Cesc, whos already turned down bigger clubs than us.

Nuno and Amorim are one trick pony, neither seem to be able to adapt their tactics. Id fear we would reshape our squad to fit their tactics and after two seasons they're off

I never want to see Lampard in our dugout, and even tho I dont dislike Thomas Frank - it would just be awkward having him on. I would never be able to fullt commit to him. He has my respect for what he accomplished at Brentford and think he would suit us in every other way except on that level.

McKenna would be the most sensible one in the long term run

Luis and Motta would be quite the risk but interesting indeed

Mullins with a Boa assist and a key talent finder.

Covers youth graduation, internal development and Portuguese, besides cheap would be a big benefit.

Most of that list is very unrealistic and I don't fancy the more realistic ones.
