Brutal league. I think West Ham will struggle.

My friend's a West Ham fan and he is fearing the worst for next season.

Their finances are in a dire state and they'll be losing all their players.

There's already loads of good teams in the Championship next season.

Norwich
Southampton
Middlesboro
Wrexham

And then you add

Spam
Burnley
Wolves

As well as teams that might conceivably make it to the play offs like Brum and Millwall. It's going to be a really interesting season.

What I will say is that their players are bad. They need to lose many of them, and also lose their owner and probably rebuild Upton Park.

I do as well.  I look at that side and it has absolutely nothing. Nothing.

Bowen is obviously both a warrior and an absolutely quality footballer and Fernandes will clearly go for big money (would love us to get him but can't see that happening), Somerville is ok but after there is nothing.  Souceck will excel down there but they have nothing else whatsoever.

It's going to be intresting.

It is going to be a season worth watching that is for sure.  But then it always is.

I'm so pleased for the mouthy West Ham fan who gave me grief on the train after our game at the Cottage. Enjoy the Championship & financial meltdown my friend, you won't be missed.

If I was West Ham I would grab Marco I reckon it would appeal to him.

I am equally pleased for the whole club who cancelled my ticket for their last match against us, so I had to queue up,  get a replacement and get into the ground 20 minutes late.

To be honest they have been poor for most of the season.with a couple of good results. No consistency. Anyone who thinks the championship is a walk in the park is mistaken as it depends who they can keep. The best thing they could do is give that Olympic stadium back and buy their old ground back. And get back to what they are a small club in East London. And be proud of it

I agree about their stadium Andy but suggest they ground share with Leyton Orient & save us taxpayers £ms.

I can probably guarantee that there won't be many matches in London the same time when those thugs start causing mayhem on the streets and start the traditional seat throwing and vile chants in the ground.

The Met will have their hands full.

I always find it weird and a little bit dismissive when supporters say that going down for a season will do a team good.

Just when they thought they had suffered enough.

Might be a tad tricky with 800 odd Barratt homes on the site of the old ground. If they are a small club, averaging 62k attendances & FA Cup & European success, you'd need the Hubble Telescope to see Fulham sadly.

Strange, seeing how they've got a subsidised stadium and a windfall from the Boleyn. But money is soon swallowed up in the modern game.

Surprised Nuno is staying at Championship WHU, can't believe he's taking a pay cut?

Doesn't Nuno have the same agent as Marco?

I know a decent human being who admits to following Millwall. He is as embarrassed about some of his fellow fans as you would hope.
It is his team and he is going to stick with them, as he should.

Sadly the decent ones are heavily outnumbered by the flotsam.
