40 points would have been enough. The highest for some time.
I've argued for years that 36 is the magic number, filham you were right this time!

Assume nothing. Not too many expected Sunderland to get into the Europa League. Each of the 3 promoted teams will think they have a chance if they recruit well. No obvious candidates for a tricky season from the teams that have survived either.

Generally agree but, with the exception of Ipswich, the other two clubs have no previous PL losses to factor in so could potentially do a Sunderland? Having said that, finding those elusive strikers we all need will be a huge challenge.
