He is normally positioned closer to the center circle when we have a dead ball. Too far out to handle a rebound like that one.
Either that or since he was playing as a wing back he was just inspired.
I thought he had a poor game overall. Really didn't contribute to the attack and was too far up pitch to do much on the defensive side.
If he did more on the attack he would have been with a top six team. His benefit to us is defensive, especially against counters.
The celebration after too... He looks like a different fella to what we have seen the last 4 months.
Great to see him looking fit and up for it again, he could have a great tournament.
