Just in case anyone with a 4K TV is watching the BBC World Cup matches on the "normal" channels (BBC1 or BBC1HD), you can actually watch them on IPlayer in full 4K UHD.

It's about 5-10 seconds behind the broadcast though. Seems like pretty cool technology but wouldn't watch it over the live broadcast.

That is very clever, but you're right - I wouldn't want to watch a whole game like that.
As the technology improves, I can see it being a really interesting way to watch a match though.
You can also watch it in AI where ,before k.o, you feed in the result you want and it shows you that.
This is the 'can't fail' future. It must catch on as it gives everybody what they want regardless of the reality. Reality, as it already has in many areas, will become redundant.
