With many Fulham supporters away in August and early September, is there a particular home fixture that you are praying doesn't fall on a date whilst you are away ?
For our family Sunderland is a big fixture because of family connections, so do you have any fixtures that have more meaning than others that you wouldn't want to miss ?
Away on the first day of the season please. Preferably somewhere up north lol.
Home to one of the big boys on the first day will be very annoying!

Away to Hull then 😱 Bad memories of some of those games.

Problem with drawing them is they're still full of hope. Meeting them later in the season when they're on the slide is preferable I'd say
A big 6 club away first game with them also having a new manager, avoid the newly promoted clubs for the first half dozen games until their enthusiasm has worn off. Mid table team for our first home game.

I'm totally the opposite in fact, Liverpool or United at home would do nicely, I much prefer the games in which we've got a better chance.
Coventry city away as not many ,if any meetings top division.
I've posted before on this but here are some stats about our "first match" in our Premier League seasons.
We've played the Big 6 a total of seven times on Day 1 of a season, twice at home (Arsenal lost, Liverpool drew) and five times away (Man Utd three times, lost all three; Man City drew, Arsenal lost). So two draws and five defeats in seven games.
Our overall record in the PL on Day 1 is P19 W6 D6 L7 GF24 GA24. Of the six wins, three were at home and three away. Of the 19 seasons, 8 of our Day 1 games have been at home and 11 away. So we are overdue a home game on next season's first day.
Our overall record on the first day in our previous 108 seasons of league football is pretty good: P108 W44 D29 L35 GF172 and GA147. A win percentage of 40.7%, compared to our overall win percentage in all our league games since 1907 of 37.1%.
Just noticed that next season is our 20th in the Premier League. Remarkable.
It wouldn't surprise me if our first fixture is at home to Chelsea.
If it is I hope it is not on a Monday Evening.
