Post by: JimmyConway on July 01, 2026, 04:26:29 PM

I thought you meant us. I was going to agree with you! Clubs signing players and getting organised. It's 1st July and still no manager!

Glasner will be there soon!

Apparently Pereira had a clause in his contract stating that it could be terminated before 1 July, and he received an email 2 min before mid night that the clause had been activated and hes gotten the sack

With Glasner on his way in tho, he surely must have been promised quite the rebuild

Strange move. Sideways at best and working for an awful person

Absolutely agree, especially after he did so well at Palace.

I assume so, could be a bit worrying with Spurs rebuilding, Forest doing the same, teams below pushing on etc, our league position looks dodgy enough, you can see why the bookies have us up there as 2nd Fav for relegation after the 3 new teams.

Wouldn't have minded Glasner at Fulham

I think most of us would have loved for us to get him.
However he left Palace because of their lack of retension/investment in the squad.
He would have encountered similar with us.
At Forest he may be working for an erratic owner but would likely get the Financial backing he seems to look for.

Money talks and at times very loudly.

I wouldn't be that surprised if they finished higher than us next season. Or qualified for Europe or won a cup.

Or finished lower than us or got relegated. Might as well cover every base.
