Title: Fulham v Fulham
Post by: cmg on July 04, 2026, 05:45:39 PM

Last 16 of World Cup.
Both sides have a Fulham centre-back.
Nether get in Fulham first choice XI.

No Luc, you don't look hard enough to get involved in mayhem. (Feel free, Issa).

Issa looks a good few levels above Luc. Luc looked very shaky, while Diop was the best defender on the pitch.

Nine years older and playing for the better team. It makes a big difference.

Didn't say it didn't. But I've seen a lot of fans suggesting we sell Diop while his stock is high and promote Luc. He doesn't seem ready to me. I'd keep Diop and start him in most games.

Very tough game for the youngster.  And one I'm sure he will want to forget and get past.  His needlessly taken yellow set up the first goal set play.  His careless errant giveaway started the rush forward for the second goal.  Hopefully he can forget this game and move on and forward.  Still don't think he's ready to join and play in the big team, jmho.

i think this is the game he has to learn from watch the game back with a coach who can assist him explaining where and how he can change in certain positioning aspects to iron out those instances on the pitch.
Think he needs a championship loan this coming season.
