Yes, maybe that will overcome the chronic fears that England teams have had. I believe that Southgate should receive credit for laying the foundations of this. He approached the job far more systematically than any of his predecessors and Tuchel seems to have inspired this set of players.
Three difficult games to come now.
Proper performance from the team and squad. Tuchel's in game management and the way he gets the players to leave their ego at the door and buy into his philosophy is exceptional . 15 Lions during that game 👏⚽️🔥

Yes the players did themselves proud today and that should strengthen their resolve and team spirit.

The boys did well and that's brilliant. Southgate started this and this manager is moving it on.

A big concern is that much was made of the test that we faced with Mexico- the crowd, the altitude, the weather, their host nation status...
Now we face a Norway side which will cause huge problems, but there's not that feeling of "we'll need to be at our very best to get through this"...

A brilliant victory, fantastic spirit from all those who played, including Dan Burn, who played such a great defensive role when he came on, and well done Tuchel, adapting the tactics so boldly - he threw the dice and the players responded so magnificently.
I have preferred club football for ages after the run of predictable tournament performances. Yes it did improve under Southgate, but the lack of subs once again led to lame endings. However I decided to stay up as the next World Cup four years away and I am getting on! I will never forget that game. Every player gave everything being obviously dedicated to the shirt. ::thumb::
