So true...can you name another who could average 50+ and bowl in 3 different ways. He also might have enjoyed a drink with Stokes..there was a great interview decades ago when his tendency to have more than one drink meant he crawled back into the hotel well after midnight. The old duffers selectors wanted him dropped as punishment. He admitted he couldn't see the ball clearly for some time but as he 'sobered' up he crashed a half centurty..and they had to pick him again

A truly wonderful cricketer. His 6 sixes in one over from Malcolm Nash's bowling was one of so many memorable displays. RIP.
