Hayden who??? What a pity I missed this mouthwatering feast of football. I mean with Malone, Morsy and Mr Wickham (wasn't he in Pride and Prejudice??) lol

And for goodness sake, when you write in Roman Numerals, it's XI AND NOT X!    !!!!!!!!!!!!  On your keyboard, try and find the letter i (then capitalize it) This will stop you using an explanation mark instead of a capital I

Don't you check before posting?????

Don't you check anything?
Unless you live in some sort of time warp, then how have you missed the game if it's today at midday and you're posting an hour or so before?

Also, you may want to see how Fulham posted their roman numerals- but you'd know I'm sure that the file path part of a URL can be case-sensitive? https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2026/july/29/u21s-to-face-pfa-xi/

Wow. When we played our home games at Loftus Rd I used to sit in front of a guy whom we named 'Mr Angry'. You always seem so cross.

Thanks for posting - I've just logged on, is there anywhere I can see a list of the PFA players?

I love this comment

Arbeloa has informed Fulham's sporting director that he likes him and wants him on the team. "

Pretty sure Arbeloa didn't read the contract properly then when joining

Aren't we literally waiting on an imminent announcement of 2 of his former players Garcia and Palacios?

Were giving him what he wants, and we already pursued a deal for Mastantanou but they wouldn't give us an option on the loan which is what halted our pursuit originally for this player

Last time I went to school a single ? sufficed. Don't you know anything about grammar? And whilst on the subject an interminable number of ! exclamation marks do not increase their effectiveness. Seriously, do you check nothing before ranting so rudely?

Enjoying my pint(s) and finishing my book (audible) and checking FoF. Being Dyslexic, example being who and how. Same letters completely different words but I often mix them up. The "ranting rudely" or is it "rudely ranting" thing got me interested. After posing the question to AI (there were several versions, until we understood each other) he/she came up with this...

Both are grammatically correct, but they emphasize slightly different things.
"Rudely ranting" describes the manner of the ranting. It flows naturally because the adverb ("rudely") modifies the participle ("ranting"). It suggests the person is ranting in a rude way.
He stood in the street, rudely ranting at passers-by.
"Ranting rudely" also means the ranting is rude, but it places the emphasis first on the act of ranting and then adds how it was done. It can sound a little more conversational.
He was ranting rudely at the cashier.
If you're using the phrase as a descriptive label, such as:
"...instead of having a calm discussion, he was rudely ranting."
I think "rudely ranting" has the smoother, more idiomatic rhythm.
That said, there's an even more natural choice. Native English speakers are more likely to say:
"ranting angrily" (emphasizing emotion)
"ranting abusively" (emphasizing verbal abuse)
"ranting loudly" (emphasizing volume)
"ranting in a rude manner" (more formal)
One small point: the verb to rant already carries the idea of speaking loudly, emotionally, and often offensively. Because of that, adding "rudely" can sometimes feel a little redundant unless you specifically want to stress the lack of politeness.
