Did they ask him questions on
FFC. or Wrestling.
obviously that would have some bearing
on his answers.

I didn't listen to the wrestling bit but the interviewer did ask Tony if we would be doing more business and he said categorically that we would. He likes the limelight so expect last day business and last minute deal sheets. Another sleepless night for me. New film - 'Sleepless in Sangkha'

Correct, the interviewer is a wrestling fan and was clearly set up with a view to promoting their event in London. And fair enough

As for the end section - yup, as we know club not done and looking to tie up more deals this week 🤞

It's not a surprise Woolley, the bloke asking him the questions is a massive wrestling fan, so it was always going to be those questions and chats first.

Incorrect:-

They were on Talksport, but that so called  wrestling is not a sport, it is bad acting and hype, so why is he talking about it on a Sports program.
Reminds me of a cold bucket of vomit.
An opportunity to talk about Fulham's first game of the season in a London Derby v Chelsea and he's waffling on about men in tights, you couldn't make it up, shame on him.

Talksport isn't even a sports station.  It is a vehicle for despicable betting and gambling companies to push their wares on those who listen to it.

Well they call darts and snooker sports, and athletes, what's the difference.

Breakdancing at the olympics! Like it or loathe it,
Wrestling is one of the oldest sports
on Earth. But never let any opportunity
to have a snide dig at TK. go.

Wrestling at the Olympics is genuinely two opponents in combat. Wwe, or whatever it is called is not a contest, everything is pre arranged.

The guys in the ring are astonishingly good at faking it but that is what is happening, not sport at all.

If TK can promote his business interest on talk sport, good luck to him, why not?

But it's not sport.

Wrestling is a sport with a revenue measured in $billions.
Tony Khan's venture, AEW, is measured in $100s of millions and growing not least to Warner Discovery joining.
FFC still is much larger in terms of revenue, but considerably poorer in terms of future profit.

Seriously?
He's done a number of interviews of late and will do more about Fulham no doubt end of the window

Just cos you don't like wrestling doesn't mean talksport aren't allowed to report on whatever they want

He owns more than one company and this one was promoting an event he has this weekend in england with his other company...still discussed Fulham but how is it shameful. Honestly what an overreaction...what more does he need to say about the situation at Fulham - "yeh look forward to the game and we're definately gonna bring in more people in the summer window "- great, thanks , next

Unnecessarily harsh, He responded to the questions asked by the interviewer and there's nout wrong with not every interview he does having to be all about Fulham , who cares

The difference is that wrestling is an act rehearsed before the event between all the bad actors that participate.

Just clarify your answer implies you do consider darts and snooker as sports, and those that participate are "athletes".

Wrong again old timer, I like wrestling but proper wrestling between real men, I use to wrestle a bit myself in my younger days, in between boxing, self defence classes, Yard of Ale Contests, Stand Up Comedian, ( although I had to ditch that as I just couldn't stand up ).  Escorting Ladies ( and before you ask, the answer is no, no and thrice no ) and I cannot say any more until my Lawyer arrives.
All that stood me in good stead for my Full Time Employment.
But as you say who cares, just laying down my three Penneth worth.
But of course if you do not like my style you can always move along, I won't take offence.
Too many genitalmen on here are far too sensitive and serious, just relax it is far more enjoyable than being a back room lawyer.

@Woolly Mammoth sir, twas you who called a club man shameful for promoting his other business (as is perfectly reasonable to do so) and not talking enough about Fulham for your liking. Not sure suggesting others are too serious is much fair, therefore. 😅 Bit of a gaslight there, So may I say... "you started it" ha

And we of course aren't referring to that type of wrestling, though glad you dabbled with rolling around with fellas in tights yaself once upon a time. The AEW type certainly isn't my bag but I would equally suggest those who get frequently riled up about it and feel the need to slag TK off for daring to promote it, shouldn't take it all so seriously either. In 2026 many hugely successful people run multiple ventures successfully and work between roles. and his AEW is a bit of fun that enough people enjoy that it makes his company millions of dollars, you have given your three penneth worth as you're of course welcome to, and I have returned with my own on top, so 6 penneth worth deep and none of it matters 😅

Hmmmm I didn't realise I had so many fans on here.
well there appears to be a misunderstanding, as I was not slagging the owners son off, I was stating an observation and a fact, that is not
slagging that's being truthful.
I am prepared to allow others to have their say and I expect to be treated the same.
Apart from that we shall have to agree
to disagree.
Its 9 penneth worth now and none of it matters.

I don't think it was a strange response, he is entitled to his opinion, as you are entitled to yours.
Whether people agree with him or not is neither here nor there.

Wooly we're all entitled to have our thoughts on a discussion forum, and it of course goes for you commenting on something, just and it goes for us observing and commenting on that comment. No one said you weren't allowed to think what you want, just that we think it's overly harsh and are telling you as such.

That's literally slagging him off.

It's Calling it waffling because you personally aren't interested in it and you feel he shouldn't do it and that your opinion is that its "shameful"... that is not a fact, it's an opinion...and that's a fact.

Anyway a whole lot of cents that don't matter but that's my thoughts on it all and shan't waffle on any more about it myself 😅
