The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Manuel Ángel for an undisclosed fee from Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old has agreed a three-year deal, keeping him at Craven Cottage until June 2029, with a Club option to extend by a further 12 months.
After putting pen to paper, Ángel said: "It's an incredible feeling to have signed for such a legendary club as Fulham, the oldest in London. And to compete in a league like the Premier League, where every player dreams of playing at some point in their career.

Manuel Angel signs for Fulham
A two-footed central midfield player, Ángel is comfortable with the ball at his feet, is intelligent with his movement, and has a keen eye for a pass.
Having started his career at Sevilla, Ángel moved to Real in 2018, linking up with the club's Under-15s initially, and working his way up to Castilla – where he was named captain by Álvaro Arbeloa going into last season.
It was also Arbeloa who gave him his senior bow, with the player appearing four times in La Liga in the second half of 2025/26, in addition to featuring in each of their UEFA Champions League victories over Manchester City.

He's not a winger, seems more like a Xavi type of player from reports. As for Cesar, I wonder if Iwobi will take his place on the left for now, and he will be on the bench. But the manager seems to have a lot of loyalty to his Castilla players so who knows.

Let's hope even one of our RM youngsters can emulate him.

Youngest player in Europe surely, I'm seeing comparisons to breaking Messi's record, which would go beyond Serie A.
Either way, very strenuously tied point to signing Manuel Angel.
I'm excited to see what Angel is like, I think he'll perhaps be a more cultured version of Josh King perhaps. Two-footed player, perhaps capable of playing a bit deeper too.
